Chapter 3: The Game Begins

As Liam exited the virtual world of the game, his mind buzzed with anticipation. The system had promised him a mission, and he was eager to embark on it.

"So, System, what is my first mission?" he inquired.

The response flashed before him, outlining a monumental task.

"Mission: Add players to the game. Limit = 20,000 players. Description: Get 20,000 players to download and play the game for at least 2 hours. [Rewards: 1000 M.P.] "

Liam paused, absorbing the challenge. It was a daunting objective, one that would require careful planning and execution.

"To make it work, I have to think hard," he mused aloud.

His thoughts raced as he considered his next move. "First, I should create a new company. I can't launch this game with my old company. What name should I give to this new venture?" he pondered.

"Global Entertainment," he decided after a moment's contemplation. It had a ring of authority and universality that appealed to him.

With determination, Liam set about establishing his new company and launching the game on its official website. However, he knew that simply making it available wouldn't be enough. The promotion was key.

"There is a special website for games run by the government," he remembered. "All games not belonging to big companies are launched there."

Liam wasted no time in spreading the word. He utilized every available platform, posting enticing messages on gaming forums and social media.

"Best graphics VR game, 95% reality—life, or 1000 credits from the company," his posts proclaimed.

But he knew he needed more. A streamer could make or break his game's success.

After careful consideration, he settled on Jiya, a medium-sized streamer with a devoted following.

"Hello, is this Jiya speaking?" He nervously dialed her number, his heart pounding in his chest.

"Yes," came the response.

"My name is Liam, and I'm a game developer. I'd like you to promote my game. Can you please tell me your price?" He asked, trying to sound confident.

"For one week of promotion, you can pay 500 credits," Jiya replied.

"Okay, give me your bank account, I'll send you 200 credits for now, and after one week, I'll give you the rest," Liam agreed, relief flooding through him.

"Sure," Jiya replied.

"Give me your number so I can send you a link to the game," Liam requested, eager to seal the deal.

After completing the arrangements, Liam checked the progress and was pleasantly surprised to find that someone had already downloaded the game.

The journey had begun, and Liam was determined to see it through to the end.
