Rescue Team Arrived

"Um!"(x3)

Seeing their reply, Arthur couldn't help but nod his head in satisfaction.

Ava the blood Elf of Blood and Thunder

Mio the blood Elf of Blood and Poison

And Anna the blood Elf of Blood and Darkness

Looking completely the same, had it not been for their connection with the soul seed and the colors of their pupils, Arthur would have had a hard time guessing who was who

with electrifying blue eyes, Ava undoubtedly stood out the most making it almost impossible not to focus your attention on her whenever she passed

however, this was not to say that Mio's light green eyes and Anna's dark purple eyes weren't equally as enchanting, as even Arthur couldn't help but sigh at the beauty of the elves

"But blue, green, and purple? Does the color of their eyes have anything to do with their unique attribute?" Asked Arthur as he looked at the girls lost in thought

Coincidence or not, Arthur couldn't help but think twice and wonder if there was a connection somewhere after realizing their eye colors were the same as their unique attribute

Something which he had never seen or heard of in his 10 years as a resident of this world, even after he had spent most of his time in the Thornehearts library.

"Um? Master? I don't mean to interrupt you but look behind you"

"There seem to be some lights and they're getting closer. Should we do something?" Asked Ava

Just as Arthur was lost in thoughts about the reason for their eye color, Ava's voice suddenly sounded in his head interrupting his thoughts

Following her line of sight, Arthur quickly noticed about a dozen or so torches headed in his directions

"Damn! It must be Mom and Dad who got worried about me and sent a search party to go get me"

"That's it, the three of you hide. Don't worry since you are dependents I can communicate with you through our connection no matter the distance"

"The three of you hide and grow your strength, I'll come back to the forest later when I can. For now, just practice and grow your strength"

Not wanting the elves to be exposed, Arthur quickly passed down the Thorneheart mediation method to them as well as the heavenly sword breathing method, he got from his uncle Amos

Although he wasn't sure if they could use both aura and mana as he could, Arthur still decided to try his best to train them especially since their strengths could be superimposed and fed back to him

And the Elves hearing this, although confused by his sudden order.

But as people who had already sworn to serve him, they didn't hesitate before taking a quick bow at him and then disappearing into the forest as fast as they could

Seeing this, Arthur unknowingly breathed a sigh of relief

"Sigh..., thankfully the seed unlocked a new function after merging with them, and that was none other than communication"

Speaking of communication, thanks to this I can talk to holders of the sub-seeds or dependents through the connection we have.

A communication not limited to distance or time, one that can be done instantaneously without any delay

Not only that, but I think more surprises should come up as I grow in strength such as being able to call dependents into the soul world for meetings and among things

Thinking of the future, Arthur couldn't help but smile. However, after seeing the ever-approaching torch lights, Arthur knew he was in serious trouble.

And sure enough, time soon passed and Arthur just sat there waiting for his rescuers.

So, with that in mind, he began to once again picked up his wooden sword and began practicing.

This went on for almost tell minutes till a group of almost two dozen people appeared in front pf him

Especially looking at the tall grey-haired man that stood in front of everyone. Arthur knew he was in serious trouble now.

"ha-ha Uncle Amos, fancy meeting you here,"

"Is anything wrong?" Laughed Arthur

......…

Scratching the back of his head awkwardly, Arthur let out a laugh as he tried to play down the current situation

However, the rescue team seeing their young master like this couldn't help but twitch their lips as they admired his shamelessness.

Not only that, but Amos who led the expedition seeing Arthur like this sighed as he wondered what kind of problem child did his friends give birth to.

At a staggering almost two meters tall, grey hair, blue eyes and an aura which seemed to make him seem like a humanoid fierce beast

Amos, a famous auras user the empire, someone who had been a friend of Arthurs parents for decades, was specially asked to teach him swordsmanship and use of aura every day since he awakened aura

Now five years had passed and Arthur was already quite skilled.

"However, the me right now would not be able to even land a scratch, even according to what I heard he's even meant to be much stronger than his"

"it's said that once when he was young while fighting a monster, he was seriously if not fatally wounded"

"because of that, ninety percent of his aura is directed toward his internal injuries maintaining his vitality thus making to rapidly age while also preserving his life."

So, seeing Amos, be it for the fact that he was his teacher or the fact that he was currently at the brink of death but still manages to get up every day like that

Arthur only had genuine respect for that.

Unfortunately, that respect wasn't going to get him out the trouble he was currently facing

"Young master, can you tell me why you're in the forest so late?"

"don't tell me that you were practicing here and got lost?"

Said Amos as he glanced at the wooden sword in Arthur's hand and the messy foot prints on the ground

"Sigh… what am I going to do with you, if anything happens to you Sephrina and Elias would kill me"

"Fortunately, nothing went wrong if not I would be in serious trouble for allowing you to practice near the forest in the first place"

Talking to himself, Amos didn't wait for Arthurs's reply before issuing an order to the other knights to head back while also taking Arthur of course

All the while he wondered if maybe letting a ten-year-old practice swordsmanship alone near a forest might not have been the wisest of choices
