The Executioner

Vestine managed to escape the town upon acknowledging his comrade had been defeated. Running in the woods, tree after tree, when he reaches far enough, he decides to take a break.

"Looks like that 'person' tricked me. I could've thought those kids with a high bounty would be under the protection of Magihen. I needed to come in contact with 'Big Boss', and bring the full force if we actually wanted to claim that bounty. Moreover, why the hell did that 'person' put the bounty on them? A grudge?"

Vestine was reminded of Ryuma's red flame that could have defeated him if it was not for the thanks of his shell.

"No... It makes sense, it looks like there's actual value to those kids with the bounty. Maybe we could lead their lives and try to see their real meaning of value, more than 10 million per head. Maybe we could make 100 million coins from each of them."

At the same time, Vestine was startled by someone's footsteps as he had his guard up. It was Lamat, critically injured as he was able to barely walk. Not a long time after, the girl in latex also stumbles upon the two. And then, from Vestine's left, he caught a sight of Tezin. Coincidentally walking in his direction as he stumbles upon them. Not surprisingly, the girl with the witch hat, Nalida also stumbles upon the group.

"Looks like you guys survived too, who would've thought? Since you're all here, I'm assuming you've failed."

"Hmm, I've made a blunder I should've not done... Which caused me to lose to them." (Lamat)

"If it is not because of that guy in a lab coat, I would've already conquered the whole town." (Tezin)

"To think my invincible army to lose against a single mere bitch... How unpleasant!" (Nalida)

"T-That big girl and the elf is a monster... MONSTER!!!" The girl in latex shouts as she falls to her knees. Her body is still trembling cause of a lack of energy and trauma from her latest encounter.

"Hey hey, calm down Kurino. It's just unlucky since we decided to not tell Big Boss we're hunting the bounty all by ourselves. Moreover, that 'person' never told us about The Sage's base. The other bounty hunters might decide to back down if they know who they are dealing with. Anyway, do any of our guys manage to escape except for you four?"

"No, doesn't look like it."

The group exchanged their words in the middle of the wood. Not long after, they noticed another footstep walking on their way. Thinking it might be another of their subordinate who managed to escape. It was not...

"Hmm... Looks like it's only the elites, isn't it?" Kochigawa Tennisuke approaches them as he's walking. Vestine noticed the object Ten was holding in his hand. It resembles the shape of an hourglass.

"Welp, since I'm here, how do I want to decide your future, I wonder..." Ten's expression was emotionless, Vestine who just met Ten for the first time also felt the bad air on him.

"I've known you, your head is also in the bounty. Are you also a subordinate of The Sage?"

"Hmm... You got that half right, I think." Vestine feels the bad air from Ten, but also decides to step forward with the smile on his face.

"Say kid, why don't we make a deal? There are 19 bounties excluding you, summing up to 190 million. If you help us kill them, you'll take half of the bounty. How about it?"

"Vestine?! You're making a deal with this kid?!" Nalida shouts, displeased.

"Shhhh!" Vestine shouts Nalida up.

(I've had a very good eye on people. Either strong or weak. From an outside perspective, I can't seem to sense any source of mana inside of him. But I know that this kid could kill all of us if he wants to. To be honest, We've lost a lot of manpower here, if I managed to convince this guy to join us, the reason we all come to this town will be worth it.)

"No thanks. I know what you're thinking. But the only reason I'm coming here is for one and one reason only. To kill all of you..."

"Hahaha... I see..." Vestine hides his face with his hat. At the same time, Tezin lost his composure as he walked towards Ten.

"HEY YOU BASTARD, WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE TO STAND BEFORE US ELITES?!! HEH, JUST TO LET YOU KNOW, OUR PLATOON HAS CONQUERED 21 VILLAGES, 9 TOWN, AND 3 CITY!!! FOR YOUR TOWN, I'LL SAY IT'S JUST A BLUNDER, BUT IF YOU DARE TO BECOME IGNORANT TO US, I'LL SHOW YOU WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE WHEN YOU'VE BECOME PIG FOOD-"

*BANG!*

The blood, followed by the pieces of bones and also flesh. The scattered brain hits the tree and pins the green grass with crimson-red blood. Tezin's head was blown to pieces as his untouched body fell to the floor.

The group who stood behind Tezin couldn't see it since Tezin's body blocked it, but somehow a double-barrel shotgun was in Ten's hand before they knew it. As if Ten has it in his hand the whole time.

"That's exactly why I wouldn't make a deal with you. You've made too many enemies. Just to say, you all have killed 138 men, 76 women, and also... 3 kids..." Ten stepped forward, showing dominance towards the remaining four who were still alive.

"First of all, Vestine Ladas. Do you think it's a coincidence that all five of you happened to meet each other here?"

"Don't tell me..." Ten shows the hourglass in his hands, it is actually the Mind Wave that Melium uses to control the common sense of the students of his school.

"The order I put in this artifact is... 'Any human who decided to go out of the city must use the northwest gate of the town. This means regardless you're on the end opposite of northwest, your mind that's unaware would eventually use the northwest gate, for no absolute reason.

"Take this!" As Ten closed his eyes, the girl in the latex who Vestine just called her, Kuroni. Went to Ten's blind spot and bound him with the rope that materialized from the lava.

"This rope could cut even the strongest black iron. Say your prayers, your life is finished when you're bound by this rope... Take this!" And then, Ten's body was separated from him. In multiple pieces.

(What? But I'm only cutting his half of his body-)

A great force just broke Kurino's ribcage in pieces instead. It sent her crashing into the few trees by the ball of chain. Somehow or another way, the ball of a chain appeared attaching from Ten as the part of his body assembled to the normal state.

"That's two down... Next, even if you were to plead, or using force to fight me, your fate would be the same..."
