My Death

"Finally!" I couldn't contain my excitement. After five years, five months, and 23 days of relentless effort, I had made a breakthrough.

I created the first analysis AI!

The system could do everything: from solving complex math problems and assisting in system programming to discerning human emotions and aiding in everyday life. However, there was one significant hurdle—it required a massive amount of performance, and I hadn't found any technology capable of loading the program completely.

My heart raced in my chest. The potential for this invention was immense; I could make billions with it. Now, all I needed was someone who could initiate my program. But who could that be? I struggled to recall. It had been so long since I had done anything other than sit in my room and program the AI.

I opened my browser on my PC and typed: 'Tech company near me.' In the next second, thousands of search results appeared on my screen.

The first one was just 100 meters away. "Wow," I thought, "That's close. I'm so lucky!"

Quickly, I disconnected the memory drive from my PC and threw on my jacket. Glancing back at the screen, I noted the ominous message:

'Closing in 30 Minutes'

I had to hurry or they would close before I arrived. I slipped into my shoes and opened the door, almost forgetting the memory drive on my working table. After ensuring it was securely in my pocket, I dashed through the door and stumbled down the stairs.

Outside, the sun was already disappearing beyond the horizon. I made a beeline for the towering glass building—the headquarters of the company I needed: TSMC.

Fifty meters ahead lay my goal. Everything went black, and I heard thunder.

Wait, what? Thunder? I was very sure that there wasn't a single cloud in the sky! How was that possible?

"Could it be? No, impossible! But everything else doesn't make sense… what else should it be?" I thought, trying to explain my situation. "It must be. That must be a higher power!"
