Shocked, only one thought was in my mind: "What happened to my stats?" I got +2 in defense and +3 in agility. My intelligence gained two more points, and I required the Skill "Poison Resistance" which could help in many situations.

Poison Resistance

Definition: Helps to withstand or mitigate the effects of poison, such as reduced health, slowed movement, or other negative status effects.

Level: 1

XP: 20/100

This skill is even more overpowered than I thought. When it's not only helping clean the poison in my body but also every other harmful effect. That means others shouldn't be able to stun me.

I continued drinking the water, stopping after leveling up my poison skill again.

The day is almost over, and long shadows stretch across the ground in the moonlight.

On the way back, I leveled up my night vision skill, allowing me to see further and with more detail than before. It helped me a lot to find the way. Arrived at home, I started thinking about food. I was hungry! I hadn't eaten for two days, and even with my time shield skill, I had to eat at least every three days.

To distract myself from my hunger, I started looking for a new magic book I could read for the night since I had already slept last night. I wasn't tired at all.

After searching for a while, I found what I searched for - a book called: "Spells for Beginners", I directly started reading.

The first chapters explained how to sense your Mana and concentrate it in your body. I followed the steps from the book:

1. Sit down in a comfortable position

2. Close your eyes

3. Breath deeply

4. Clear your mind and forget your surroundings

Stay in the position for one or two hours every day, and soon you will sense your Mana floating through your body.

After an hour, I could feel something floating in my body. It was different from blood since it was not bound to anything. It was staying in my body as it was locked in it. I opened my eyes. My lips went up - I was smiling. I didn't smile since my mother died. But now I was smiling, a true smile!

"I did it", I shouted, and with that, I realized - I acted like a child. Is my body affecting my mind? I wouldn't have reacted like this in my former life, even though it was a breakthrough. I decided not to think about it anymore and concentrate on using this new power, so I continued reading.

As I continued reading through: "Spells for Beginners", I learned about one of the basic spell: "Fireball"

The instructions were straightforward but needed focus and mana control. I cleared a spot in my room, closed my eyes, and followed the book's guidance. I imagined a flame forming in my hand, fueled by my Mana.

Instantly, I felt a warm spark in my hand. I opened my eyes and looked at it. Determination floated me and I fed it with more Mana until it burst into a small, dancing flame. I couldn't help but grin at my success.

But as I admired the flame, I did not use the word "Fireball" to cast the spell, as described in one of the steps.

I was about to continue thinking about it, but then the system helped me out: » Because you have such a great talent in magic, you can cast a spell by simply thinking about what you want to create«

Now I remembered the first book I read about magic. There are different forms of cast magic. One way to cast spells was through the power of thought, but that was a method, you learned after practicing and studying magic for many years - not on the first try.

"I was blessed by god!" I claimed and continued practicing forming magic by casting all the basic spells I imagined.

As night fell, I found myself immersed in another magic book, this one about hunting. Each page revealed tracking spells and other useful information, sparking my imagination for the hunt to come.

The next morning, the forest greeted me with chirping birds as I geared up for the day. Armed with knowledge and excitement, I ventured out, enthusiastic to test my abilities.

Throughout the morning, I crept through the woods, using a stealth spell to hide not only my aura but also smell, sound, and body. I also cast the spell "Map" where I could easily check the environment for living things.

Hours passed as I traversed the dense undergrowth, my senses on high alert for any sign of movement. Finally, I spotted it — a monstrous pig, its tusks gleaming in the dappled sunlight as it rooted among the fallen leaves.

With careful precision, I cast a tracking spell, ensuring that my prey would not escape me. Drawing upon the techniques I had learned, I moved silently through the underbrush, closing the distance between us with each passing moment.

As I neared the creature, my heart pounded with excitement, adrenaline coursing through my veins. With a flick of my wrist, I unleashed a magical snare, ensnaring the beast in a web of shimmering energy.

With a triumphant shout, I closed in on my prey, my movements swift and decisive. With practiced skill, I dispatched the creature, its mighty form falling at my feet.

As I stood over the fallen beast, a sense of pride washed over me. I had triumphed in the hunt, proving myself a skilled hunter and a master of magic, but as I looked upon my fallen quarry, something unexpected happened—a surge of energy pulsed through me, and a notification appeared before my eyes:

» Congratulations! You leveled up! «

With a sense of wonder, I checked my stats, only to find that they had indeed increased. My strength, agility, and intelligence had all received a boost, along with a new skill - Item Box. It seemed my victory had not gone unnoticed, and as a reward, I had gained access to a magical container capable of storing items with ease.

Excited by this unexpected turn of events, I wasted no time in utilizing my newfound skill. With a flick of my wrist, I summoned forth the Item Box, its shimmering surface materializing before me. With practiced ease, I transferred the carcass of the pig into the box.

Throughout the night, I worked tirelessly in the kitchen, cooking and roasting the meat to perfection. With each dish prepared, I withdrew the necessary ingredients from the Item Box, grateful for its ability to keep everything fresh and ready for use.

As the aroma of cooking filled the air, I couldn't help but marvel at the convenience of my new acquisition. With the halted within the confines of the Item Box, I could prepare meals at my leisure, knowing that each ingredient would remain as fresh as the moment it was placed inside.

After I cooked all the meat, I also granted myself a big piece of it. It was super delicious. While I was eating I checked my stats which changed drastically:
