Chapter 200: The Unexpected Youth

In Kirgys City, in a small alley to the east of the city, there stood a rather ordinary gray brick house. Strangely, even during the day, all the curtains in the house remained tightly drawn.

Inside the house, a girl in a plain brown dress sat boredly on a chair, flipping through a book in her hands.

After a while, the door was pushed open from the outside, and a slightly petite figure carrying a tray of food walked in.

"Hey, Claire, I've been waiting for so long!"

As the girl cheerfully spoke, she jumped off the chair, took the tray, and helped set it on the nearby table, chattering away.

"Sorry, Lizz, I can only offer you these ordinary things," Claire said somewhat apologetically.

On the table were just ordinary black bread and stewed vegetable soup, with traces of smoked meat between the potatoes and carrots.

"Ah, being able to leave that castle, I feel like I can breathe a little easier."
