Chapter 30: Clear as a Mud Puddle

Tulaska POV

Why in the name of all the stars had Jiro asked them to make his decision easier?

Because they were Wise Women, that’s why, and Wise Women helped the Alphas and their Lunas. They comforted the troubled ones and troubled the comfortable ones.

Arranging her moonbeam cloak around her so it didn’t get caught in her chair, she thought about Jiro leaving the question in their hands. She supposed she couldn’t blame the boy. He’d taken on another younger brother that the entire pack had wanted to rip apart. And from the way Cyran sat quietly, dignified, but with a hint of defiance in his eyes, he’d done a stellar job in just a matter of days. So much so that the pack had awakened, and even better, Dane sat up and took notice, too.

Cyran’s bond with his fated mate had done the rest. Naomi had strength and softness in equal measure. She and Cyran had even brought her family around.
