I rushed to Vidam’s condo office when Nikolai and Ivan called and said that they had taken the day off. But Vidam was not there. I threw a tantrum, switched off my phone for twenty-four hours, and hid in Eriks Corporation in my private office. 


The next day Vidam was spitting mad when he appeared at the door of my office and I needed to make amends.


“I am sorry Vidam. I was reckless and never charged my phone.” I made an excuse as I let him in.


Vidam heaved a sigh and pushed me away. He walked to the coffee counter and started making a cup of coffee. I could tell he was scared something bad had happened to me since I was unreachable. I removed my coat and then pulled him away from the counter as the coffee brewed and pulled him to the office couch. He turned his face away and I stood up and switched the coffee machine off. 


“Why the f*ck did you switch the machine off?“ Vidam asked in anger.
