Chapter 64: Duel

“Come on,” Cassius snickered. 

“What? You ran your mouth and are now scared?” Dominik demanded

“I am not afraid." Cassius stood up. “I challenge you Nikolai for coven leadership. And If I win, you will exiled to the mountains and imprisoned for life.” 

“Cassius, you are delusional if you think you can fight Nikolai. Who does not know you have been feeding on witches' blood plus the blood of the younglings? You are a filthy vampire and not the coven leadership," Timur spoke up.  

“Isn't Nikolai the same as me? He imprinted on humans. Not one but four!” Cassius yelled. 

“I accept the challenge," I spoke up and the whole room went silent. 

“Nikolai, I will take your place." Ivan stood up. “He is pissing me off.“

“A mere human?” Cassius laughed. 

“Oh boy this will be good," Dinara stated.

“Why is that?” One coven member asked, “How can a human fight Cassius?”
