The Windermere Clan Dinner

The two people before him were the most hypocritical he had ever met.

Everyone would think they did all this because they cared so much about Raven. They were so terrified and concerned for his well-being.

Of course they weren't.

"What's so funny, you bastard!" Alaric snapped, glaring at Raven with a mixture of anger and confusion, his face reddening.

Raven, with a sharp gaze, maintained his cynical smile, showing his disdain for the drama unfolding around him.

"You two are the biggest hypocrites I've ever seen," Raven retorted.

"Raven, are you seeing something? Can you hear us?" Laura interjected, trying to calm the escalating tension. "You might be hallucinating, Raven. They're worried about you. Please, be kind to them."

Raven simply shook his head, giving Laura a piercing look. "I'm not insane, doctor. They're the ones playing a role, pretending to care about me. It's fake sympathy," he said sharply.
