Chapter 21: The Future Restored

"Oh come on!!" Naruto yelled, none of their attacks were landing and it was unknown why. Everyone was getting frustrated, due to nothing working against the woman, it was like even with them knowing that she was going into the future was futile. She had some sort of barrier that stopped any of their jutsu's or attacks from reaching her and it was annoying to say the least.

"Calm your emotions." Hinami said glancing over, standing in a defensive position each of them attacking in quick succession, with Chitiro just dodging them one after another.

"Awww. I don't think you comprehend the situation." She said in return before moving her arms out, performing rotation,

"Fire style, flame bomb!" Jiraiya yelled sending flames from his mouth

"Wind style! Gale palm, allforce!" Hinami yelled pushing her hand out creating an inferno with Jiraiya fire style. Hitting Chitiro head on, though she brushed the attack aside like it was nothing. 

"She can't use that transportation technique right now at least." Naruto said and Shinki hummed glancing over 

"In exchange it seems he has a massive reserve of power." he said looking over with his bright green eyes. 

"Alright, lets immobilize her!" Hinami said clapping her hands together, as Jiraiya disappearing from the front to bind the woman, Hashirama fighting more seriously now, as he sent wood binding with Shinki's metallic sand, 

"Ninja art: Timberwolves." Hinami said calmly, the trees around the field morphing and changing shape as the wood creaked and broke, taking the form of large wolves which ran forwards, jumping on the sand and wood to reach Chitiro, biting her ankles and forcing her down from the sky where Jiraiya hit her with his lions mane technique, Chitiro laughed as she broke the jutsu's hold. Sending Jiraiya crashing into the canyon on the other side, leaving a crater. Landing on the ground in a crouch. 

"Pervy Sage!" Naruto said looking over 

"Uncle!" Hinami said in the same moment the man waving his hand

"I'm fine…" Jiraiya said calmly, 

"Was that pathetic attempt supposed to stop me?" She asked taunting as he stood over the group, Jiraiya growled lowly before performing handsigns quickly, placing both hands on the ground

"Earth style dark swamp. You won't be able to move anymore." he said,

"Water style, chains." Hinami said, chains erupting from the dark swamp, pulling Chitiro further in. 

"No!" She yelled powering chakra through her body, blasting the water and mud away as she burst through the jutsu, Chitiro sent a bar towards Naruto which Hinami blocked using woodstyle, stopping her from trapping Naruto to a tree. 

"Give me the 9tails, or I'll kill your friends." Chitiro said cheerfully to Naruto, plasting Hinami into Hashirama, sending the two flying back into rocks. Before the gravitational field around all of them increased, sending them into the ground in individual craters, 

"Doesn't it make you angry that your friends have to protect someone as weak as you? Get angry. Loose control. The leaf's supposed weapon." Chitiro said, before humming in surprise, 

"Naruto. Don't you dare give this maniac what she wants. You remember what happens to Jinchuriki if the tailed beast is taken." Hinami said standing from the ground, wincing as she took steps forwards, using her chakra to fight the weight on her body trying to send her crashing back into the ground. 

"How pathetic." Chitiro said laughing, hitting the girl with lightning style in addition to the gravitational increase causing the girl to yell out a moment, 

"You're nothing but a weapon, now it's time to do exactly what you were made for." Chitiro before humming looking towards the boy who stood on the ground, Hinami standing against the gravitational force around her body, her fist in front of her body, her arm hanging down. 

"You're wrong. He's not a weapon. He's Naruto Namikaze! The leaf's most unpredicitble ninja, I won't let you spread lies about him any further." Hinami said from behind the woman, standing on the air as she looked forwards with her byakugan activated, she wore an maroon-purple sleeveless cropped top zipped up to her neck with a cropped sky blue jacket overtop, wearing black shorts with a skirt stopping mid thigh. Wearing her black hair in two braids with light blue ribbons at the base, a yellow strand going through the braid on the right side with a lilac purple strand going through the braid on the left side. Wearing her headband around her left thigh, her bangs falling over her face wearing black arm protectors on her forearms, wearing shinguards on her shins going over her black sandals.

"Ooh, This is going to be fun." Chitiro said in response, her skin was almost luminescent white, her hair glowing a vibrant yellow, as black swirl lines sat across her body, her eyes holding the byakugan and sharingan once more the sharingan hidden within the byakugan, her forehead bare of a headband with a horn protruding from her forehead, her cloak was torn around her body with spines not unlike kimimaro broke through the skin on her body, her feet bare of any shoes or sandals due to the elongated clows that sat on her feet. The woman flying towards Hinami at a rapid pace, sending her chain out, Hinami disappearing at the last moment, reappearing on a tree,

"You're quite impulsive…" Hinami said looking forwards, her feet digging into the ground as she stood against the gravitational force around her, lifting her hand up, a similar stance to Gaara's own, her hand in front of her face, with her fingers outstretched, 

"What are you doing ya know." Akei said before coughing as he was shoved further into the ground, before the weight stopped suddenly, the pressure releasing almost immediately, allowing the group to stand from the ground, Hinami remaining in the same space. Chitiro coughing blood. 

"Ninja art: Blood control…" She commented, 

"So, while her blood is staunted, what's our plan here?" Hinami said 

"Her powers are incredibly strong, and increased in strength since her transformation." Hinami commented 

"How long can you hold her?" Jiraiya asked, 

"Not long. This isn't meant as a holding jutsu like the toad flatness, shadow possession or mind transfer." Hinami said in response, before closing her fist the woman coughing blood before Hinami was sent flying back, 

"I am curious… how you avoided my lightning." Chitiro said and Hinami hummed

"My staff can be used as a lightning rod." Hinami said, before pivoting on her feet, as the woman broke free from the blood control, grabbing her staff from the ground jumping up over the attack. Throwing her staff forwards as an electrical charge could be seen jumping off the metal.

"Hinami." Naruto said in shock, the girl moving her hands in slow signs as she was also fighting the gravitational force around her body, 

"Waterstyle! Geyser!" She said water bursting forth from the ground directly underneath Chitiro, sending her flying into the air, the jutsu dropping from all of the ninja at once, trapping the woman in water with the electrically charged staff, amplifying the electricity, Hinami falling to the ground. Being caught by Shinki, Sasuke blocking a hit aimed at Akei. 

"Sensei…" Akei said in shock looking towards the man

"Oh.. I forgot you were here." Chitiro said, unconcerned as she continued to gloat over the group. 

"Well, no matter, I'll just take you down like the last weakling" She said as she looked at Sasuke

"Weakling? Should I be offended or are you talking about someone else?" Jiraiya said twisting Chitiro's arm behind her back. Chitiro spinning, grabbing Jiraiya by his neck and throwing him down into Hashirama. 

 "Pervy sage!" Naruto said as Jiraiya jumped down in front of him

"This Legendary Sanin won't be defeated so easily. Tis I…. The toad charmer, Master Jiraiiiyaa" Jiraiya said moving his arms out, Hinami looked over laughing 

"Well… his spirits haven't dampened." She said

"The numbskulls teacher is also a numbskull." Sasuke said placing a hand on his forehead looking towards the two, 

"You're not doing what you want anymore! We won't allow you to." Akei said looking towards Chitiro, standing with Shinki and Hinami. His blonde hair spiking around his forehead, his pupiless blue eyes looking towards the woman who looked unconcerned. Jiraiya sending his rasengan into the womans chest sending her into the mountainside leaving a large crater. 

"I think that took care of her." He said confidently, 

"No it didn't." Hinami said with her byakugan active looking forwards, 

"Hey that actually stung a bit." Chitiro said dusting herself off as she came back floating in front of the group, looking towards them

"Is she immortal?" Akei said and Hinami hummed placing a finger on her chin, 'that would explain the rapid regeneration I've been seeing.' she thought before Sasuke jumped in front of them, 

"Focus! Fire style! Fierce dragon flame jutsu" Sasuke said sending a dragon head shape of fire towards Chitiro who dodged it, the fire exploding in the air behind him

"Ameno Subaruboshinomikoto: Gyokkou!" Chitiro said holding out her palm sending blasts towards the group. Hitting every single one of them and sending them crashing down. The ground breaking apart further, Hashirama growing trees around Naruto to block the next attack, grabbing Chitiro and sending her crashing into the ground harshly.

"Naruto! Use the training with aunt Kushina! Put it to use!" Hinami said and Naruto nodded, dining a two tailed cloak as he looked forwards, 

"You're dead now!" He said looking towards the woman, he was holding on to the two tailed beast cloak the red cloak giving him two tails, 

"He's got control over two tails, but any more than that and he looses control." Hinami said looking forwards, as Jiraiya watched in worry alongside the others. Akei running down to help, as did Hinami and Shinki, 

"Let's conserve our chakra to help them." Sasuke said and Jiraiya nodded, the four kids creating two Rasengan's to counter Chitiro's attack as she laughed, prepared to devour both rasengans, when Minato hit his shoulder with a thrown woodstyle, from his place on the ground, Jiraiya hitting the same spot with his rasengan a moment later as he jumped up.

"For your travels." Hashirama said as an exclamation, the woodstyle going straight through Chitiro's shoulder, with the rasengan leaving a burn in the same space

"For the road." Jiraiya said, Sasuke moving his sword,

"Take this as well, Kirin!" His said a dragon of lightning appearing right above Chitiro as lightning danced around her she grunted, before pushing her jutsu further around the Rasengan in front of her as well as the vines coming from below

"This time your finished! Urashiki!" Hinami and Shinki said using Shinki's sand to remain in the air

"All of this ends right now! You know!" Naruto and Akei said, the Rasengan alongside Shinki's massive ball of magnetic sand hitting Chitiro at the same time, a large explosion occuring in the middle. All of the kids falling to the ground, Naruto's cloak receding, as he lay passed out on the ground with Hinami and Shinki. Boruto sitting up from the ground just barely. 

"Hey is he okay?" Akei questioned, looking towards Naruto who was passed out on the ground, 

"He just needs some rest." Jiraiya said stepping forwards

"What about Chitiro?" He questioned, 

"Those attacks took her out completely." Hashirama said from the side, Sasuke nodding in return, a small smirk on his face, 

"We've completed our mission." He said and Akei looked over,

"Told you we'd… get it." He said before falling back on the grass, 

"Man. Being an idiots teacher sure is hard work." Jiraiya commented and Sasuke nodded in agreement. 

"Your headed back to your own time." Minato said to Shinki, Hashirama, Sasuke, and Akei as they stood in the hokage's office. Hinami, Naruto, and Jiraiya standing on the side, looking towards the four.

"Yeah, we have to head back to our own time." Sasuke said in return, and Hinami nodded,

"Have a safe journey, you know." Naruto said, looking over as Jiraiya looked towards the adults

"You have a jutsu to erase our memories of this incident? I'm sure there are things we've learned we aren't supposed to know." Jiraiya said looking over towards them

"Ah, yes…" Hashirama said placing his fingers underneath his chin as Sasuke flashed his sharingan, the occupants in the room falling to the ground briefly, the group leaving using flying raijin to jump away, grabbing their clothes hiding in the trees as Neji came up to the office 

"There you are Hinami, Naruto… Shouldn't you two be resting?" He asked and Hinami hummed in confusion from where she stood from the ground. She and Naruto looked towards eachother in confusion as he moved his arm around as a show of health. 

"Resting from what?" Naruto asked, 

"Uncle did we have a mission or something?" Hinami questioned and Minato shook his head,

"No, but there is a mission coming up." He said 

"And where are those… actually I can't remember." Neji said making a confused face for a moment and Jiraiya hummed as Naruto moved his arm around.

"Well, I'm gonna go train with Ikumi before he pops a gasket, he's been waiting to train all week." Hinami said waving
