Solitary

How lonely a soul can be at night?

As soft, rough winds slowly caressed the whole

And it's only the moon who's giving the light;

Engulf the soul into darkness and pull.

A quiet room: a silent scream unheard;

The salty taste of tears rolling from eyes.

No one cares, no one bothered, though all eared

They may comfort, but all they'll say are lies.

Step into the darkness to find a friend

Everyone will deceive but darkness won't lie.

Comfort was given and help was sent,

Happiness it is, but doesn't reach the eye

For behind that are tears that hide;

A smile that pretend and a tongue that lied.
