"You expected him to call you when you switched your phone off, how amusing." Her system snickered and reminded her.

Right, her phone was still switched off. Quickly Alix switched it on as she sat down in the chair Tai Ho Sun pointed her to.

"You are the one who married the Zhang family's second son, aren't you?" The old man, Tai Sun spoke up.

"We were not invited to the wedding." He added seriously.

Alix moved her lips around, not truly knowing what to say to that.

"You can try saying me too because technically you were not invited as well until the last day when they needed to use you." Her system advised.

"You never offer any helpful advice. " she replied.

She smiled awkwardly at master Tai Sun and offered no response.
