"How excited are you? On the scale of one to ten?" Aiden asked as I downed my glass of scotch. It burned down my throat, it was reality — yeah, reality.
"Two" I said dryly and Leo scoffed pouring me another glass. They were trying to get me drunk. It was fucking obvious.
"Loser" Aiden grumbled under his breath but i wasn't paying him any attention. I would be going back to SFHS, there was panic brewing in me. I would meet my past after five years.
How I confront it would determine how far I'd grown for the last five years.
"— Charlie.." my ears stood on alert. Aiden was saying something to Leo who looked as uninterested as always. The dude never changes.
Trying to sound as uninterested even though, I wanted all information concerning Charlotte. Merely thinking about her name, bile rose in my throat. I should be hating her, I shouldn't be interested.
"Charlie huh?" I asked swirling my drink inside the glass my eyes on it, when in truth I wanted to give Aiden a death glare.
"I meant Anna, a friend of Charlie" he said and Leo shot me a look. He knows everything, behind his cold exterior was a good listener. I'd kept in touch with him for the last five years, he knew every single fucking thing I went through.
I kept mute not giving Aiden the reply he wants so much. I couldn't give myself away.
"Summerfield! Here we come!" he said raising his glass, in form of a toast and downed it.
Leo and I exchanged a look before drinking ours. Of all three of us, we knew Aiden was the one with the most problems, he only managed to conceal it with the ' I don't give a fucking damn attitude' the dude's stepmother was literally hitting on him.
Aiden was cool, he was handsome with his carefree personality, he had girls around him always.
Leo had the most girls around him, seems like girls has a huge turn on for danger, because Leo was literally screaming dangerous. They always want something they could not have. Leo's story isn't mine to tell.
"You're still on with Bianca?" Leo asked and I shook my head. I haven't contacted Bianca just as I haven't contacted — Charlotte.
Bianca was my girlfriend or better still ex — they'd always been on since Middle school, then as friends.
When I was in his Sophomore year, i asked her to be my girlfriend. She was clingy as fuck. I'd been spending much time with Charlotte than i did with her, it angered her. Bianca had a thing for rivalry, she could go to any length to make sure she get what she wants.
And I was the price.
"Party tonight?" Aiden asked looking curiously from me to Leo.
"—No" I said and he grinned.
"Wanna get up early for school then, you're excited about this" he said and I forced a tight smile.
Just tonight, I'd give myself away. After now, I'd unleash my wrath.

I drove into the school roughly, sure enough that my Rolls Royce Sweptail had left a trail of dust behind him. Soon enough, he would draw attention to himself and I'd be the hot guy who owns a Rolls Royce.
I closed my eyes.
I need the will Amo, all the strength you could give to me
I stepped out of the car donning my shades and true enough there was already a couple of people staring —at my car. The girls were the first to notice me, they always was. Aiden had said I was trending on the school blog. My comeback was no longer quiet and a surprise because fucking Aiden had done the announcement himself.
"OMG, is that Reggie?"
A girl had asked before the shrieks went off, fucking noise everywhere. I groaned —the attention was no longer new, and i needed something new.
My gaze went to the side of the fence were the tree would had been — yeah, been.
They removed it, the comfort zone of students. Everywhere looked different, not bad different —a good one.
Students gathered around me, some I knew and some —I haven't even seen them in my whole fucking life and they'd pretending to know me.. Ha!
I wouldn't deny my eyes were searching the faces, I couldn't help myself. I spotted a dark curl and a smile threatened to make it's way to my lips but I bit it back.
She still left her curls untamed, and fuck him if i haven't envisioned running his fingers through them countless times in a way much different scenario.
She stood far away from the crowd of bodies swamping him, yeah, she hates crowd.
She still had her glasses and skirts, her eyes were literally glowing —she looked innocent and at that thought, hate slammed into me.
She isn't fucking innocent, she's a wolf in a sheep's clothing..
She's a murderer.
