Breaching the Barrier

As Jian's figure faded into the distance, Drai turned to Christo and asked anxiously, "What should I do, Christo?!"

Christo shook his head and said, "With Jian's current emotions, he won't listen to a word we say. I'm actually quite shocked that he felt that way, but maybe I've really been rather harsh toward him."

"So we're just letting him go like that?" Drai remarked, staring at Jian's figure that was no longer there.

Christo sighed and looked up at the sky, thinking it was inevitable that his personality and Jian's clashed. Jian was hotheaded and impulsive, while he was calm and prudent; they were almost the total opposite of each other.

On the other hand, although Drai wasn't as prudent as Christo, his personality was on the calmer side, which caused Christo to sympathize with him more, resulting in this disparity of treatment that was mentioned by Jian.
