Evening descended upon the training camp, casting a warm, orange glow across the landscape. As the sun dipped below the horizon, it marked the hour for the students to gather for dinner. The Pussycats had made it clear the previous day that they wouldn't be serving food anymore; the students would have to fend for themselves. Curry was on the menu, and Pixie-Bob's instructions echoed in their minds.

"Now, remember what I said? We're not serving your food anymore! If you guys wanna eat, you'll have to make your own meals! Starting with curry!" Her words rang in their ears, a daunting challenge before them.

Momo Yaoyorozu, a natural leader, stepped forward to take charge of the situation. She stood before her fellow students, her voice steady and determined as she began to lay out the plan."Alright, everyone, to cook curry, we'll need fire. Todoroki, Bakugo, you're on fire duty. Get the campfires ready," Momo instructed with authority. She had an innate ability to organize and delegate tasks effectively.

She continued, her eyes scanning the group of students before her. "Iida, you're in charge of providing everyone with the necessary utensils for cooking and ingredients. You can take..."Momo paused briefly, her thoughts collecting like ingredients in a pot waiting to be stirred. Then, she continued, her voice brimming with determination, "But first of all, who can cook?"

Momo's gaze swept the crowd, and only a few hands were raised in response to her question.

Seeing the limited number of students with cooking skills, Momo's disappointment was evident. She herself was no expert in curry preparation. She focused on those who had their hands down, assigning them different tasks. "Everyone with your hands down, help Iida with the tools and ingredients. Set up the plates, and make sure they are clean. No dust should be there; clean them with soap and water."

As Momo assessed the situation, she posed another question. "Now, keep your hand down if you know how to cook curry." Following this inquiry, almost all the hands that had been raised earlier slowly lowered. Momo found herself disappointed once more, realizing that the culinary expertise within the group was limited.

In the midst of this uncertainty, one hand remained defiantly in the air. Momo's eyes focused on this lone hand, and with a sense of determination, she called forward none other than Bakugo to the front of the group.

She asked Bakugo to give instructions on how to cook curry, and he began with authority. "Listen up, everyone! If you have paper, take notes on everything I say."Momo created a stack of paper and pens through her quirk and distributed them to the students. Bakugo continued with the instructions:

"1. Prepare the ingredients by chopping the vegetables and cutting the protein into bite-sized pieces.2. Heat the cooking oil in your pot or pan over the stove or campfire.3. Add the protein and cook until it's browned.4. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté them until they start to soften.5. Stir in the curry paste or powder and cook for a few minutes to release the flavors.6. Pour in water to achieve the desired consistency and simmer until the vegetables are tender and the protein is cooked through.7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.8. Serve the curry over cooked rice or noodles on your plates and enjoy."

With Bakugo's clear instructions, the students began to organize themselves, some taking up cooking duties, and others helping with the preparation and setup. It was a lesson in self-sufficiency and teamwork, with everyone learning to fend for themselves in this challenging environment.

After an evening filled with culinary efforts, Kirishima couldn't resist making a lighthearted comment. "If I got this at a restaurant, I'd send this crap back. But after today, I'll eat every bite." His remark elicited laughter from all the students gathered around the table. Normally, they might have expressed the same sentiment, but considering the hard work that went into making this curry, they couldn't help but nod appreciatively at the effort the chef had put into the meal in a kitchen.

As the conversation flowed, Momo overheard Mandalay's voice calling out, "Kota, it's time for dinner! Where are you?" Startled, Momo scanned the area but couldn't find Kota anywhere. Her concern was evident, and in response to her distress, Izuku spoke up, offering to help. "Do you want me to look for him?" Momo nodded in agreement, and without hesitation, Izuku made his way toward the forest.

With a determined stride, Izuku jumped away, becoming a distant dot in the evening sky. But just as he left, there was a resounding boom that echoed through the air, leaving the others to wonder about the source of that sudden noise.

Izuku had distanced himself from the group, allowing his mass to increase gradually as he ascended into the air. "If I can look at all the ground," he thought, gazing below, "that will be a good viewpoint to find Kota." His eyes settled on a cliff, and with a determined leap, he left a trail in the sky as he soared towards it. As he approached the cliff's edge, he adjusted his weight, landing gracefully.

Turning around, Izuku was taken aback by the sight of a cave nestled within the rock face. He ventured inside and, to his surprise, found Kota perched at the cave's entrance. Izuku approached him and gently urged, "Everybody is worried about you; you should come down."Kota responded immediately, a touch of irritation in his voice. "No way! How'd you find this place?"

Izuku, looking at Kota with understanding, admitted, "Honestly, I just came here to get a full view of the forest and to spot any disturbances that might help locate you."Kota remained grumpy, retorting, "Whatever. I'm just fine. Get lost. So forget about my secret hideout." He muttered under his breath, "Hmph. Spending your entire life trying to improve your Quirk. It's dumb. All you want to do is show off."

Hearing this, Izuku remembered the conversation he had had with Momo, Pixie Bob, and Mandalay. He put two and two together and made an educated guess, "Were your parents the Water Hose heroes?"

Kota, taken aback by the accuracy of Izuku's guess, asked, "Did Mandalay tell you?"Izuku shook his head. "No, she didn't. She only told us about your situation, but I had a hunch because they are the only hero couple I know of who died." The memories of that tragic incident rushed back to Izuku. He vividly recalled watching the video, hearing about super strength, a power akin to his own incredible strength, and realizing that the villains who possessed it was responsible for the hero's deaths. It solidified his belief that he had to control his strength and never let it get out of hand.

Kota's frustration and disillusionment poured out in his words. "Go away. Everyone here's so crazy. Calling people stupid names like 'hero' and 'villain,' and then killing each other because of it. Always focusing on their Quirks. If they hadn't been showing off, they'd still be here. Idiots."Izuku sat down near Kota, offering a contemplative response, "I think you're right. If society didn't just focus on Quirks, maybe someone with a less flashy but useful Quirk could have controlled that situation." Memories of his own battles flooded Izuku's mind, especially the one with the boy who possessed a remarkably useful Quirk to handle powerhouses. He thought, 'He had a useful Quirk that can control powerhouses.'

With his head down, Izuku continued, "My mother was taken from me because I tried to play hero." Kota's shocked expression met his as Izuku shared the painful truth. "Since childhood, I knew my power was dangerous, so I refrained from using it. After years of suppressing my Quirk, I encountered a being who could withstand it. I went bonkers, having fun, and in the chaos, a villain targeted me. In that conflict, my mother was killed, and you know what I felt at that time? Anger. Anger at the world, anger at myself, anger at the villain."

Kota watched Izuku intently as he continued to pour out his heart. "If someone hadn't come to save me, I would have done horrible things that I would have regretted. But that someone saved me, and I found a new purpose. I found someone I will protect no matter what." Izuku's gaze locked with Kota's, and he asked, "Do you have someone you want to protect?"

Kota hesitated but eventually nodded. Izuku continued, "So, Kota, to protect someone, you need strength. You can either get stronger on your own or with the help of others. The Wild, Wild Pussycats can help you with that. So, don't repeat my mistake, Kota." With those words, Izuku extended his hand, and Kota, though nervously, accepted it, a newfound determination in his eyes.
