Of course, Grover and Jamie, being…themselves, are too locked in combat to help the woman, so me -as a woman lover- can't pass up this opportunity to help her, so I slink towards the woman cowering behind the car, careful not to alert the demons' attention.
"Here, I got 'cha," I say as I help the woman to her feet. Her legs are injured badly, she won't be able to walk without my support.
But my actions alert the nearest demon, which turns to face us, growls, then charges me like a mindless animal.
The woman lets out a yelp of fear, so I set her gently on the ground then flash her a warm smile. "Don't worry, I've got this!"
As the demon charges me, I stand up to face it, a scowl washing away my smile. I crouch down a bit, getting into a fighting stance and placing my right hand against the katana tucked away against my back by the hip. As the demon draws closer, I draw my katana with a powerful battle roar and swing it outwards in the shape of a crescent- moon slash. Without using Cursed Power, my wind, or even my demon abilities, I slice the demon's head clean off using nothing but my own natural strength. Pretty cool, eh? The demon's limp body falls to the ground as its…neck (?) explodes in blue blood. Its head rolls to the ground by my feet, letting out a small groan. I stab the demon through the brain (?) with my katana, before resheathing it.
"Are you alright?" I ask as I turn around to face the woman, who nod's frantically.
But our brief small talk is interrupted when I hear someone teleport up behind me.
"If you don't leave me some demons to slay, I'll never be able to become the Chairman of the Slayer Organization!" A voice says, and as a beaming smile spreads across my face, I turn around to see Grover and Jamie, who are smiling widely as well.
"It's…been a while," I say.
Without another warning, Grover leaps over to me and wraps me in a tight hug. "Ack! Grover, quit it!" I grunt in between Grover squeezing the life out of me. "Hugging dues isn't' my style!"
Eventually, Grover let's go and Jamie hugs me in turn. This time, I hug her back. "Alright, Jamie, this is much better!" I smirk, and Jamie lets go of me as well.
Grover's grown a little taller, good for him, standing at about five-five now. As for Jamie, she's the same height. Both of my comrades are looking just a little bit more like adults, too. Grover is wearing an…interesting outfit. He has on a dark green suit jacket with matching…suit shorts, a lime green dress shirt, and a medium green tie, with matching dress shoes, and a belt. As for Jamie, she's dressed far more color-coded, with a yellow dress shirt, a black pencil-skirt, and a black suit jacket. Ignoring the silver gauntlets, shoulder pads, and boots, at least.
"Jeez, Grover, ever heard of color-coding?" I ask with a small smirk as I lay eyes on Grover's hideous suit. "What are you wearing?"
"What, a Pro Slayer's uniform is a suit, afterall!" Grover snaps back. "And plus…I like it!"
"And Jamie, isn't that skirt a little…short and restricting for this kinda' work?" I ask as I raise an eyebrow at her legs.
"Just…shut up…" Jamie grumbles as she turns away and blushes, while attempting to tug her skirt down a little.
"Well you're dressed weirdly too!" Grover snaps.
"My clothes got ruined during my training!" I snap back. My eyes then widen. "Oh, right! I heard you guys were promoted, so uhh…what happened to our squad?! How was the promotion?!"
"The promotion was easy!" Grover begins to say.

"I wonder what the Chairman called us in for?" Ella asks as she, Grover, Jamie, and Austin stroll towards the office of Owen Solomon, Chairman of the Professional Slayer Organization, followed by Grover, Jamie, and Austin. None of the four have entered the Chairman's office since their suspension after the Cards of the King Mission.
"Meh, probably something to do with Mikey," Grover apathetically replies as he folds his arms behind his head.
"So, um…what did you call us here for?" Ella asks as the four Slayers step into the Chairman's office.
"I called you four here to discuss the future of what was originally the Slayer Hachi squad," the Chairman explains. "Standing before me, are its remnants. Just four Junior Slayers…"
"What do you mean, four?" Grover asks. "Luis may be gone now, but he'll be back home soon enough! And when he does return…the six of us are gonna go on awesome missions, just like we did before!"
"I'm afraid that that is not the case," the Chairman sighs. "Your friend has already told you about his demon heritage, I assume?"
"Err…yeah…" Ella answers.
"Luis Tramontana has abandoned his post as Slayer Fūjin without my permission," the Chairman begins to say. "And thus, Slayer Fūjin -or should I just say Luis Tramontana- has both deserted and made a mockery of my organization. Slayer Fūjin is no longer. That man is now Luis Tramontana, a half-demon, and a monster with a bounty over his head. If he ever steps foot on my territory again…he will be hunted. And killed."
"WHAT?!" Jamie cries as she slams her hands down on the Chairman's desk. "But that's not fair! Luis only left home to protect us. As we speak, he's training to control his demon powers now, so that he doesn't accidentally hurt anyone else!"
"As you just said, anyone else," the Chairman replies. "As far as I'm concerned, Luis Tramontana is the murderer responsible for the death of our beloved Slayer Hachi, the Pro Slayer Organization's strongest asset."
"Luis Tramontana strategically killed our greatest fighting force."
Ella's entire body tenses up as she begins trebling. While everyone begins screaming at the Chairman, Ella remains calm and composed.
"Beloved…" she softly says, causing everyone to shut up and turn to face her. "BELOVED?!" Ella then shouts as she looks up to meet the Chairman's eyes with her fierce gaze. "Nick told us everything about what you did to him! She tortured that little boy! You killed his best friend then forced him to kill more people! You never cared about Slayer Hachi, only his strength!"
The Chairman sighs
"OF COURSE I CARED ABOUT SLAYER HACHI!" He then booms as he slams his fist onto his desk, causing everyone else in the room to flinch. "As the Chairman of this organization, it is my sworn duty to protect the world from demons! And thus, this requires me doing everything in my power to slay demons! Even if I have to get my hands dirty to create my ultimate soldier. I cared about Slayer Hachi more than ANYONE! Because without him as my backup…the world would have been doomed long ago! And now, thanks to your friend…I lost the future Chairman of this organization…"
Everyone is silent. No one knows what to say. That is, until Grover interrupts the peace.
"So you wanted…Nick to become the future Chairman…?" Grover softly says.
"That is correct," the Chairman sighs.
"With Nick and Luis gone…what will happen to our squad…?" Ella asks, her voice trembling.
"As of today, the Slayer Hachi squad…is disbanded," the Chairman says, causing everyone's eyes to widen.
"Disbanded…why?!" Jamie cries.
"How can I achieve my goals with this squad disbanded?!" Austin shouts.
"Relax, relax," the Chairman orders as he holds a hand up to the furious Jamie and Austin. "Your squad may have been disbanded, but you four are still Slayers within my organization. You four -of course, with the help of Slayer Hachi and the former Slayer Kaen- were able to fend off not just one, but two pairs of Assassin Slayers, and one of my strongest duos, no less! Slayers Hitoshī and Chishiki. Originally, I plan to promote Luis Tramontana had he survived the ordeal. Of course, he did, but now he's gone. So in his place, I will promote you four to Senior Slayers. Of course, I severely dislike the four of you due to all the trouble that you've made for me, but I'll blame the late Slayer Hachi as a negative influence. It's not fair to cut budding potential short just because you four had two trouble makers in your squad."
Everyone's eyes widen.
"We've been…promoted…?" Grover asks.
"Yes," the Chairman answers. "And while we're on the topic, what jobs do you four want to take in this organization?"
"Well I want to enter the Research and Technologies Branch, of course," Austin answers. "Lead by Slayer Kurāken."
"Hey, Jamie, wanna become a Field Patrol Slayer with me?" Grover asks the girl. "We know Staten Island pretty well, so no one would be able to defend it as well as us!"
"Of course!" Jamie answers. "I'm not one for the brainy stuff like Ella or Austin, so I'm down to smash enemies with you for a bit longer!"
"What about you, Ella?" Grover then asks as he turns to face his friend. "What do you want to do?"
"Well, I-" Ella nervously stammers as she shifts her weight from foot to foot. Ella then takes a deep breath in…and out, then looks up to face the Chairman again. "Please, I want to enter the Medical branch of the Slayer Organization!"
"Of course you may," the Chairman replies. "Slayer Hīrā, Slayer Takanome, starting tomorrow you both will begin attending classes at our university pertaining to your desired jobs within my Organization. It can take a few months or a few years, depending on how good you are. Slayer Midori, Slayer Gorira, starting tomorrow, you two are Field Patrol partners. You four will meet back here tomorrow, where I'll give Slayers Hīrā and Takanome their class schedules, and Slayers Miori and Gorira the rundown of what their new job pertains to. For now, you are dismissed."
Ella and Austin turn to face one another and smile. "Looks like our careers in this organization really start now!" Ella excitedly says.
"That's what it seems like," Austin smirks.
"Alright!" Grover and Jamie boom with a mighty fist bump.
"Let's go clothes shopping right now!" Grover exclaims. "I need a new suit!"
"You can help me pick one out too!" Jamie replies, causing Austin to perk up.
"What?!" He cries.
