Queens Squad vs Famine, Part 3

In Famine's earliest memories of herself, she exists as nothing more than an amorphous blob, with not even a name to call her own. Other demons -despite being hideously deformed with no rhyme or rhythm, or a unified shape or form- still have some sort of physical body. But all Famine was born as was a small black blob of goo.

And so, Famine lived out her days desperate to find some sort of form to call her own. This eventually led Famine to eat her own kind, to consume her fellow demons in an attempt to take over their bodies. But this failed. By eating her fellow demons, Famine only succeeded in adding to her amorphous black body, making it larger than before. But that's not all. By consuming her fellow demons, Famine was able to absorb their Cursed Power and add it to her own, making Famine even stronger than before.

But little did Famine know, that not having an original form of her own was actually a benefit. Since because of that, it allowed Famine to take the form of others much easier. By not having a form of her own yet consuming countless demons, Famine awakened her Cursed Ability; Chimera, as weak, low level demons such as how Famine once was, don't have a Cursed Ability until after they eat hundreds of their own kind to grow stronger, and their Cursed Power mixes together.

Famine's new Cursed Ability: Chimera, allowed for her to take on the form of the countless demons she's eaten, including their tentacles, wings, tails and more, resembling ancient monsters from mythology. But when Famine wasn't using her Chimera, she still appeared to be nothing more than an amorphous blob, with no body or name to call her own.

Until one day, Famine -still as an amorphous black blob- wandered into the demon capital (this takes place thousands upon thousands of years ago, when demonkind still ruled over Earth, yet before Death was their king).

"What's…that smell…?!" Famine thinks to herself. A slit then spreads across Famine's amorphous face, opening up into a mouth. "You smell…DELICIOUS!" Ears then sprout from the sides of Famine's amorphous body, allowing her to hear the terrified screams of whatever creatures were huddled together in the pen in front of her, enslaved and kept captive like pigs ready for the slaughter.

Two more slits then spread across Famine's amorphous face, opening up into two bright red eyes. When Famine opens up her eyes, she sees humanoid, flesh colored creatures that she's never seen before.

"WHAT ARE YOU?!" Famine cries as she lunges towards the humans, causing them to scream. "ALLOWED ME TO DISCOVER WHAT YOU ARE BY CONSUMING YOU!"

Since Famine was born as a weak, unintelligent demon, she lived on the outskirts of demon civilizations, and had never seen these human cattle before, and therefore, had never smelled or eaten them.

Famine lounges towards the nearest demon, and opens up her mouth, revealing row upon row of pointed, jagged fangs. Famine then chomps down on the arm of the nearest human, causing them to scream in pain as they drop to the ground, writhing on the floor in a pool of blood.

Famine chews then swallows the human's arm, and when she does…Famine's eyes widen.

It is then where Famine discovered her urge to consume human flesh.

"DELICIOUS!" Famine screams. "DELICIOUS! I MUST EAT MORE!"

And thus, by using her Chimera, Famine morphs into a bloodthirsty monster and goes on a rampage, slaughtering and consuming every last human she sees. After surviving off of the rotten meat of demons for centuries, Famine couldn't even fathom that meat this good existed.

Famine ate and ate, until she couldn't eat anymore and felt like she was about to burst. And their; lying in a pool of blood and on a mound of bones and corpses, Famine fell asleep with a stuffed belly.

"What…is this…?" Famine groans as her eyes slowly flutter open. When she does, Famine looks down at her body and sees that she's no longer an amorphous blob, or a monstrous creature. Rather, Famine sees that she has arms and legs. Seeing her newfound hands, Famine touches them to her face, discovering that she has a face as well.

"I look like…those creatures I just ate…" Famine softly says to herself. Tears then springing out of the edges of Famine's eyes, and stream down her cheeks. "Finally…" Famine weeps. "I FINALLY HAVE A TRUE BODY OF MY OWN!"

"I must…consume more…" Famine then continues. "I must consume more humans to achieve an even greater form! I must discover how consuming these creatures allows me to become more humanoid myself…"

With her newfound body, Famine became obsessed with the research of humans and demons, attempting to find the link between the two, as well as to how consuming humans led to a demon becoming more humanoid. This led Famine to learn about how demons absorb the Cursed Power of the demons they eat, but the bodies of the humans they eat, in an attempt to become the "perfect" lifeform. By taking a human's heart and body, but a demon's strength and Cursed Power, then and only then can one become "perfect."

Still obsessed with having her own body, Famine began to run experiments on demons and humans, resulting in the construction of genetically-engineered half-demons, created by implanting the cells of a demon into a human fetus. As the human grows, the demon cells become more intertwined in the body, turning it into a full half-demon, as much of a half-demon as one created from birth.

Famine was too focused on her experiments to get involved with the conflict happening at the time; a new demon called "Death" who was attempting to overthrow the current Demon King, as well as his associate dubbed "War." Famine steered clear of combat and politics.

That is, until one day, after becoming the Demon King, Death busted down Famine's door, and discovered her experiments inside.

"Interesting…" Death mutters as she wanders across Famine's laboratory, observing her dozens of test tubes and research books.

"Wh-who are you?!" Famine cries as she spins around to face Death.

"My name is "Death," the current King of the Demons," Death answers as he turns to face Famine with a smirk.

"And what are you doing here…?" Famine growls. "How did you find this place?!"

"I heard rumors that a mad scientist was living here, and came to check the rumors out for myself," Death answers. "And I must say…you certainly live up to the rumors, mad scientist."

"Are you here to steal my research…?" Famine growls as she holds a hand out, which morphs into a lethal claw. "Many have tried, all have failed."

"No, I come in peace," Death chuckles as he holds his hands up in surrender. "I want to use your research, mad scientist."

"Use my research…?" Famine asks as her claw reverts back into her hand. "For what?!"

"I heard that you have discovered that half-demons are the world's "ultimate lifeforms," hence why we demons become more humanoid upon eating them," Death explains. "By using your research…I want you to create a half-demon army befitting for the likes of the Demon King, an unstoppable army."

"What's in it for me?" Famine asks as she crosses her arms and looks Death up and down.

"What isn't in it for you?" Death answers with a hearty laugh. "Money…time… resources…I'll give you anything that you need, Mad Scientist, so long as you swear to dedicate your research to my plans."

Famine's eyes widen. "This is it…" she softly says to herself. "This is my chance to finally get a name and body for myself…"

Do we have a deal?" Death asks as he extends a hand out to Famine. But much to Death's surprise, rather than taking his hand, Famine kneels on the ground before him. "Hmm…" Death mutters.

"Anything for you, my Demon King," Famine answers, using Death to smile approvingly. "I shall dedicate my research for you, as long as you give me anything that my research desires."

"Exclennet, I look forward to working with you," Death replies. "My Left-Hand Woman."

On top of becoming Death's own personal scientist, Famine also took to the battlefield, using her Chimera to help further her Demon King's conquest over the world. And after consuming everything in sight thanks to her powerful, humongous minster forms, Famine was dubbed; "Famine the Consumer."

And thus, Famine officially had the name she was searching for all this time, all thanks to her King; Death.

"She's in there," Mikey says as he points to the skyscraper looming above the roof of the building that we're standing on. I look to where Mikey is pointing, and I see that he's motioning to the penthouse at the top of the skyscraper. "War should be in there, in the penthouse," Mikey explains.

"And Daniel is taking care of Death as we speak, so none of the other Horsemen should be in there, right?" I ask.

"Correct," Mikey answers. "Famine left to go check on August and Winter, while War claimed that she was going to go "rest up." War -and only War- will be in that penthouse!"

"Alright, so we'll bust in there and take War by surprise!" I exclaim as I enter my Blue Demon form.

"We've got one shot," Mikey adds with a smirk as he enters his Crimson Coat mode. "If we don't finish this fight in one hit…then we're in for a whole world of hurt."

"We'll kill War…no matter what it takes!"

"Right!"

Mikey and I crouch down into a leading position as we reinforce our entire bodies with Cursed Power. I wrap my wind around my ankles and summon a tailwind between Mikey and I, as Mikey draws his dual pistols and aims their barrels behind his back.

"YOU READY, MIKEY?!"

"LET'S GO, DEMON!"

"WIND CONTROL: SKY GOD'S ANKLETS!"

"EXPLODING FLAME BULLETS: EXHAUST PIPE!"

With a roar, Mikey and I then use our Cursed Power reinforced bodies to leap upwards. By using the tornado I wrapped around my legs, and for Mikey; the steady stream of fire his dual pistols spit out, as well as my tailwind, the two of us are able to fly towards War, towards the penthouse in which she resides.

"Oh crap, the glass!" I cry once we're about to smash into the glass windows of the penthouse.

"Don't worry, we'll go right through it!" Mikey answers.

"I know that!" I snap as Mikey and I continue flying towards the glass windows of the penthouse. "But this is gonna hurt like Hell!"

"WAAHHHHHH!!!!"

Once in front of the window, I bring my katana up and wrap a tornado around its blade, while MIkey brings his right fist up and engulfs it in flames.

"WIND CONTROL: WIND BLADE!"

"EXPLODING FLAME BULLETS: FIRE FIST!"

With a roar, Mikey and I smash through the window of War's penthouse, then land on top of the top floor in a crouched position, our bodies radiating bloodlust-filled Cursed Power.
