Brunhilde's Private Room

"Activate emergency access!"

[Command access rejected]

In Brunhilde's research room, the situation suddenly turned into chaos. Dozens of [System] screens kept appearing like bugs.

"Activate forced access mode."

Brunhilde seemed focused on fixing bugs in her [System]. She even tried to forcibly open the [System]'s emergency mode to get back as a moderator, but the [System] kept rejecting.

[Command access rejected]

[Error code]

[Error code]

[Error code]

However, Brunhilde did not give up. She tried to stay calm and focused to fix the [System], although her hands were shaking in panic.

[Activate emergency defenses]

[Emergency defense activated]

[Force activate auto mode]

[Auto mode activated]

"It's over!" Brunhilde groaned while grabbing her head.

Her emerald eyes stared in frustration at the dozens of [System] screens popping up with the words [Error code] and [Error access].

In the midst of panic, Brunhilde felt her breath stop when she heard the door suddenly open. Then, she immediately turned around and saw Gunnr coming toward her. It make Brunhilde could breathe in relief.

"This bitch! You are really scared me to death," said Brunhilde in relief.

"Sorry, but Goddess Themis came and wanted to meet with Master."

Brunhilde had just felt relieved, but suddenly she felt like her soul had been hit by a giant mace. It's like game over — she thought.

Brunhilde looked panicked as she nibbled on her nails tips and muttered, "Why did the problem become like this?"

Themis? The Goddess of Justice and Balance? Why is she coming? Did she already know about this matter? Those questions immediately appeared in Brunhilde's mind now.

"Of all the Gods that inhabit Heaven, why her?" Brunhilde groaned and her face looked desperate.

Some time passed in silence and Brunhilde's depression. However, suddenly Brunhilde remembered something.

Then she stood up and said, "There is hope."

Brunhilde clenched her fists and she became more calm. However, she still has to make sure of something

"Is she alone? Is she with her Guardian Amitiel?" Brunhilde asked.

Gunner stared coldly and answered, "She came alone and brought a pan of apple pie."

Hearing that, Brunhilde felt relief. It was fortunate that Goddess Themis was not with her Guardian, Amitiel, who had the power to uncover any secrets. If Themis brought her Guardian now, there was no way to escape.

"Now, this sounds easier," said Brunhilde while looking for something in her drawer.

Then, Brunhilde grabbed a piece of paper and wrote something on it. Afterward, she gave the paper over to Gunnr.

"Give it to the God of Life and Birth," said Brunhilde.

"This —"

"If you still want to live. Don't ask too much and just go," Brunhilde cut Gunnr's words.

Gunnr then just nodded as he took the paper handed to her. After that, Gunnr walked towards the balcony, then he spread his wings and flew to the residence of the God of Life and Birth.

On the other hand, Brunhilde immediately packed up her tools. Afterward, she flick her finger then her cloth is changed to formal attire.

Brunhilde took a deep breath while making a friendly expression on her face. Then, with more confidence, she walked out of her room and was about to meet Goddess Themis. Now, her job is to bide time until the God of Life and Birth comes.

In another dimension, Odin kept trying to contact Brunhilde.

"Hey, Brunhilde damn it! Answer me!"

"..."

"Argh, fuck!"

Odin seemed frustrated with his current situation and condition. His left eye sight had disappeared, he had also lost control of his left hand and mouth, and yet this human was still alive.

"What kind of bad situation is this?" Odin muttered in despair.

"This is impossible. This is impossible. This is impossible."

"..."

"I'm sure this must all be a nightmare …"

Another voice was heard and spoke through the same mouth as Odin. It was the soul of Kai Donovan, the real owner of the body who was possessed by Odin.

Meanwhile, Odin who heard the mumbling coming from the same mouth as him became even more stressed. He then rubbed his face roughly with his right hand.

"No! I think I know the reason is ... yeah! I've accidentally created some other personality within myself as a form of mental defense because of all the bad things that happened to me, hahaha ..."

"..."

"... yeah! This must be so and —"

"Shut the fuck up!" Odin shouted loud enough until the people around looked at him strangely.

In that confused situation, suddenly a sound from System was heard inside Odin's head and Kai also heard the same. This was followed by a System screen popping up.

DING!

[The main quest has arrived!]

[Main Mission]

[Chapter 1: Trial Challenge]

[Mission: Return to home before deadline]

[Danger Level Mission: Lv. 3 ]

[Time Limit: Midnight]

[Reward: Experience point]

[Failure: Crippled disability]

[Remaining time : 05:59:58]

After reading the details of the mission quest, Odin's gaze was fixed on the [failure] part. He remembered the Rules of [System] that he read earlier.

So that means if he fails this mission then this body will suffer with physical disability? If that happened, it would be more difficult to get out of this fucking [System] — Odin thought.

"Ah this must also be some kind of hallucination of mine to escape reality. Such as the game online that I used to play," Kai suddenly spoke up again in a low voice.

Hearing Kai's voice, Odin then closed his eyes as he said, "Can you shut up, brat? You aren't the only one here who's confused with this situation!"

"Oh? Are you another personality that I formed? Let me tell you something ... you are my alter ego. That's the reality."

"What the fuck you want to say?" Odin said with an annoyed face.

"Oh come on, don't be so tense. You must be my other personality, in other words you and I are the same."

"How dare you equate a God like me with a lowly human like you!" Odin replied in an offended tone.

"A God? Hahaha ..." Kai replied then laughed.

Hearing Kai's reaction, Odin rubbed his face in frustration and said, "I don't care if you believe me or not, but this is the reality."

"What kind of nonsense is that? I didn't expect my other personality to think of something absurd like this," Kai said mockingly.

"..."

"If that's the case, make me believe it by showing yourself in front of me!"

"If I could do that, I wouldn't be in this situation right now. You think I enjoy being trapped in your body?" replied Odin trying to keep his voice down.

"Then you're not a god or anything. That only exists in fantasy stories, you know?" Kai replied sarcastically.

Hearing Kai's words, Odin just silent. He felt like his head was about to explode. This damn human soul who was in the same body as him was really try pissed him off.

However, the current situation was not the right time to debate nonsense and ego. The most important thing right now was about the [First Mission] told by the [System].

"Ok, forget about who I am. You want me to get out of your body, right? There is one way that —"

"Not really. It's just to prove that you're another existence like God or whatever you say is. But in fact? You can't prove it and that means everything that happens is appropriate with my theory," Kai said proudly.

Odin's right eye twitched when heard Kai's words. If it was a different situation, Odin would have made sure that this human was kicked to Hell.

However, Odin chose to hang on for now and said, "Whatever you say, but now we need to cooperate to complete all missions from [System]."

Kai raised his left eyebrow and said, "I already said that all of this is not real! Oh, come on ..."

"Hahhh, I don't have much energy to deal with your fucking thought! So, I'll tell you this once …" said Odin while holding his anger.

"..."

"If you don't want to cooperate, then you will become a crippled," Odin said.

"..."

"Do you think I —"

"I'm just saying it according to what I read from the [System] mission and honestly, I don't even care about your fate. As I said, I'm the God King and whatever condition your body, it's not my business anyway," Odin slightly snapped and because of that, he became the center of attention of several people there.

"..."

"I might be able to get out of this sucky body soon. But, you? If it turns out that the punishment really happened, then you're the only one who suffers in here …"

"..."

Odin then sat cross-legged while leaning against a wall of a closed shop, then he continued his words.

"So, it's your choice ... If you want to cooperate with me, then we go on. But if you don't want to do it, I'll just sit here quietly until my assistant contacts me again and fixes this trouble [System], then I'll just go back to Heaven."
