Chapter 81- He'll Never Let Them Off.

His heart subconsciously sank when he saw Delilah's state, he did not know why, but he felt so angry that he wanted to destroy those girls.

They dared to do that!?

He'll never let them off!

He didn't need to ask to know what had happened, he'd already known when he read the girl's micro expressions.

" We need to walk faster, she's running a fever" Harrison said, he picked up the pace as he felt the heat from the girl on his back burning his neck.

There was an underlying hint of panic and worry in his voice that he didn't even know.

Anna panicked and ran after Harrison.

They soon arrived at the camp, the rain wasn't as fierce as it was, as if the gods were relieved.

" Help, someone, please come help her!"

Anna cried as she ran towards the clinic, ignoring the curious gazes of the students and the fact that she looked like shit.

However, Harrison didn't allow the soldiers to put Delilah on the stretcher.

Instead, he personally carried her to the clinic, Anna by his side.

They gently placed Delilah on a bed, and just as Harrison stepped aside for the doctor to check on her, he suddenly collapsed and fell to the ground. The clinic was thrust into chaos.

" Harrison!" Anna yelped.

Everyone was shocked, and panic set in.

The soldiers rushed to help him, placing him on a stretcher and setting him on a bed opposite Delilah's.

The doctor who looked like he was in his forties attended to him immediately.

"This is serious," the doctor said, his brows knitted in concern as he examined Harrison's body.

" S-Sir?" Anna's heart tightened.

A while later, the doctor sighed and said,

"He has a grade 2 ankle sprain, with significant swelling and bruising. The ligaments are partially torn, and he's showing signs of high hypothermia."

Anna was taken aback, her tearful eyes wide with surprise. "Wh-what do you mean, sir?" she stuttered.

The doctor explained, "His sprain is quite serious, and he carried your friend for a considerable distance. Plus, he was exposed to the rain for an extended period, besides, there are some signs that shows he has been unwell for a while now, which exacerbated the condition. He needs immediate treatment and rest."

Anna was speechless, her mind racing with questions.

She hadn't noticed Harrison's injury or sickness, or she wouldn't have agreed to let him carry Delilah.

It was all his fault, if he wasn't so cold and aloof, she might have noticed.

She looked at him, lying on the bed, his face pale, but his aura was strong and oppressive.

Why did you come to help us? Why did you do it? Anna thought, but couldn't think of an answer.

She felt a pang of guilt and gratitude towards Harrison, who had risked his health to save them.

" Will… Will he be alright?" Anna asked, she felt the corners of her eyes sting and tears dripped from her face.

The doctor turned to her," Don't worry, he has strong immunity, and he'll be fine, his leg probably wouldn't need amputation" he comforted.

Anna's eyes widened in shock," A-Amputa-tation?" she stammered as her face paled.

The doctor suddenly realized he was talking to a student, he cursed himself," No, no don't worry, he doesn't need that" He hurriedly explained.
