You are my wife

"You don't own me, Sebastian. You can't control me; start enlightening me about how I work." Avery snapped and took two more steps forward.

She could hear the faint walking steps of Sebastian, walking closer to her, but Avery didn't stop.

Suddenly, her legs were sweeping up the floor, and her front collided with the rigid back of Sebastian.

A gasp escaped from her delicate lips and the bag she was holding drops from her hand.

"What are you doing? Drop me now!" Avery yelled, hoping one of the maids would just come out, but none of them did.

Sebastian continued walking while Avery fought to be free.

The door opened, and she was thrown to the bed like a rag. Avery moved back to the bedboard, dragging her knees up.

Sebastian's words began to surface in her mind. He had warned her, and she remembers it vividly.

"You think you can play with fire and not get burned, Avery?"
