Chapter 12- Resolve:
I Woke Up In The Hospital Bed, Confused And Disoriented. I Felt A Strange Sensation Of Dizziness And Foggy Headedness As I Tried To Take In My Surroundings. The Room Was Bright And Clean, But There Was A Strange Feeling In The Air, As If It Were Sterile And Artificial.
I Tried To Move My Limbs, But My Body Felt Stiff And Unresponsive. I Tried To Speak, But My Throat Was Dry And Raspy And My Voice Was Barely A Whisper. I Felt A Sense Of Panic And Fear, As If Something Was Very Wrong. I Then Rose Slowly After As I Took In My Surroundings.
"Ugh, Where Am I?" I Looked Around Slightly Dazed But Fortunately, I Noticed Zero Bruises Despite Being Electrocuted By Kurumi's Thunderbolts. "Hmm I Guess I'm In The School's First Aid Room" I Sighed Stretching And Somehow Not Breaking Any Bones.
Did I Truly Withstand That Attack? I Thought To Myself I Was Theorising That Maybe When Kana's Blood Mixed With Mine Maybe I Gained Her Strength. I Mean It Was Obvious Now I Could Punch People And Send Them Flying So Regeneration Wasn't Out of The Question.
As I Looked To The Side I Noticed Kana Laying Peacefully Head Down On My Lap While Snoring Calmly And Adorably. "Oh, Kana... You Adorable Ball Of Cuteness" I Chuckled Before Stroking Her Soft And Smooth Hair. She Really Did Care About Me Which Warmed My Heart To The Max.
I Still Wondered What Happened To Kurumi After That Whole Ordeal But She Was Nowhere To Be Seen So There Was No Point In Looking For Her. As She Probably Still Hates Me And Every Man In Existence. "Hey, Kana? Wake Up Sleepyhead" I Whispered Nudging Her Gently As She Rubbed Her Eyes Slowly As They Opened Up.
"Mati-kun? You're Awake!" She Leaped Into My Arms Happy And Joyfully As Ever. "Well Of Course I'm Not Gonna Leave You Just Yet Like I Said Were Gonna Stay Together Till We Get Married And Grow Old Together" I Nuzzled Into Her Neck Giving Her A Little Tickle As She Giggled Playfully.
"So How Is My Girlfriend Doing?" I Asked Concerned About Kana's Injuries From The Fight. "Well, I'm Okay Now! And I Got A New Uniform As You Can See Since I Don't Wanna Be Seen Naked Around Anyone But You!" She Giggled Mischievously.
I Blushed Almost Instantly While Shaking My Head "That Was A Serious Question" I Felt Embarrassed That I Blushed Over Her Flirting Yet Again. "Oh Don't Be So Grumpy I Definitely Know You'd Wanna Play With Me Under The Covers~" She Giggled With A Smirk Moving Her Face Close To Mine Until Our Noses Were Touching.
"Quick Question What Happened To Kurumi?" I Asked Intrigued By Where She Was In This Current Point In Time. Kana Titled Her Head To The Side In Response Putting Her Finger On Her Lips In Deep Thought.
"Hmm Oh She's Waiting Outside, Now I Remember" She Smiled Cheerfully, I Was Guessing That She Had Probably Made Up With Kurumi Since She Was So Cheerful By The Mention Of Her Name. Soon Kurumi Stepped Inside, She Was Completely Healed Even After The Tremendous Battle.
"Hey Matthew, Could We Speak In Private?" She Asked In A Serious Tone As I Looked Shocked That She Didn't Have Her Usual Seductive Tone. "Uh Sure... Kana, Could You Step Outside For A Couple Of Minutes?" I Asked With A Calm Tone As I Nodded.
"Ummmmm, Sure But Yell If She's About To Do Anything Bad!" Kana Chuckled Before Skipping Out of The Room In Her Usual Joyful Mood. As Kana Left, Kurumi Turned Her Head Now With A Somewhat Happy Smile.
"I Wanna Apologise For What I Did To You And The Countless Properties Involved I Hope You Can Forgive Me" She Spoke Sternly, Without Any Hint Of Arrogance Or Seductiveness As She Bowed Down Pleading For Forgiveness. I Then Nodded Before Speaking With A Softer Tone...
"It's Ok Kurumi I Understand, I Know You Fully Understand Why What You Did Was Wrong And I Can See You Will Change For The Better, Now You May Rise" I Spoke With An Understanding Tone As I Smiled, Proud Of Her Change In Character.
"I Just Have One Favour To Ask... And I Know I Shouldn't Be Making Them After What I Did But I Really Want This" She Sighed Looking At Me With Puppy Dog Eyes Before Continuing. "I Wanna Go On A Date With You!" She Yelled With A Blush On Her Cheeks.
My Eyes Widened In Utter Shock And I Had To Know More Of The Reason Behind This Favour. "Kana Told Me About Meaningful Relationships... And I Wanna Build One With You Matthew" She Nodded Firmly With A Serious Expression.
"W-Well... I... Fine We Can Go On A Date And See If This Works Out" I Nodded Firmly, I Was Sure Kurumi Could Change Her Ways And Become Better. She'll Maybe Turn Out Like Kana However Wouldn't That Mean I'd End Up With A Harem?
