"Hmmmm" Harry mused as he walked to the door. He carefully observed Villa. The design was obviously Roman. However according to the records in the Potter Vaults. This was built in the 5th century.
There were obvious signs of improvement. Stained Glass, Lancet Arch Windows. Gothic architecture added to the previous old Roman Design. They managed to combine Roman Columns and arches with Classic Gothic Castles.
'My family must have paid a fortune for the designer. The man who did this was obviously a genius, it doesn't even look out of place. It looks like it was designed like this'
Harry was very pleased with the design. The wards on the other hand...
'The protection on this place is shit. The moron who made the ward scheme focused on capturing the enemies and preserving the Manor. I will have to redesign the whole thing. I will keep the Manor preservation Wards for now. This is not a bad place to live in. I can just throw a Fiddelus over it and Anti-Scrying Wards and just live here in peace.'
Harry walked to the double dark oak doors. There was the Potter crest in the middle. Each door has half of the crest. The crest was made from some silver alloy metal. it was contrasting nicely with the dark oak.
'Worst case. I will find a way to move the Manor. Excavate it and teleport or move it across a boat or something. Theoretically. If I canceled all the space extension charms on the Manor. I could shrink the whole thing and put it in a very sturdy box made out of rare materials and expand the space in it. There is a thought...
No stop getting distracted. I can brainstorm later'
Harry raised his hand and focused a bit of magic and made a cut on the palm. He smeared blood on the palm and put his hand on the crest.
In virtute sanguinis mei, nominis mei, per virtutem meam.
Aperi mihi portas tuas.
(By the power of my blood, my name, my strength
Open your doors to me.)
*Click* *Kreeee*
The doors opened.
"Whoa" Astoria said out loud. The others had the same reaction
The floor was made of different kinds of marble to make a marble medallion mosaic. The interior had this golden cream color. The walls were covered with paintings. There were red curtains and expensive chairs with red cushioning. The ornaments like the lamps were silver. On the wall there was a giant Potter Crest made out of blood red colored metal and silver.
The place screamed out ' I AM RICH'
A grand staircase led to the second floor and there were large doors leading to other rooms.
"Ugh, this place is an eyesore." Harry looked at all the aristocratic things, it was screaming out wealth " So much money and they spent it on these things? Vases, Statues. Armor.. I'm remodeling this thing after I get some power in here"
( I'm thinking of making it like Salvatore House Interior Design. I like how it looks. It looks comfortable and convenient. I honestly don't like those posh houses where everything is shiny)
Harry took a deep breath "HOUSE ELVES!"
*pop. pop. pop. pop. pop.*
Five house elves appeared in front of the group. They each wore an Ancient Roman Toga. With the Potter Crest on them.
"""""MAS-"""""
"STOP" Harry called out, freezing the elves in place.
"I know your kind is overexcited and loud. So let me cut this short. Tell me your Position and Names. Left to right" Harry commanded
The elves looked at each other before the elf on the left spoke up " I be Winey and I be in charge of the Vineyard and Wine Cellar. When I do not do this. I help clean rooms. Master Hadrian"
"Oh, we have a wine cellar. Well, you are taking me there later. Next"
The next elf happily stepped up "My name is Rocky sir. I am in charge of preventing any damage to the property."
Winey.. Rocky... Right,
I nod to the next elf. He was different from the rest. All others wore a white toga, This one had a red sash around his waist. And he was old. Like really old.
" I am Titus the Head Elf, my lord."
Harry raised an eyebrow. "Why is your speech so much better than the rest"
Titus bowed his head "As a head elf, my job is to bring guests inside, and when needed to go out in the outside world for business. I am also the Keeper of the Manor. I know everything there is to know about this place and the Potters. "
"Interesting to know. Next please"
The next one was a female elf. She and the elf next to her wore chitons. A more dress like look.
"I be Linsy, I be in charge of cleaning all the rooms"
Harry looked to the last elf " I am Cippy the cook." The elf excitedly raised its hand.
'Ahhh an over-enthusiastic one. Coincidently she is a cook.'
"Cippy can you read?"
"Yes, Master. Cippy can read" The elf bounced up and down
'Good, that means I can give her cookbooks. No way in hell am I eating classic British Food. I'd die from all of their fatty food'
"Titan where is the Library" Harry asks the Head Elf
"Well, the Public Library is behind that door. And the Secret Library is on the lower floors." Titus replied calmly and waited for Harry's response
Harry caught up quickly "What lower floors? I thought this place was built above the old Roman House. There should be a basement and nothing else. Nothing about lower floors was mentioned in the books I got from the Vault"
The ancient elf hummed and looked at the group of women behind me "Do you trust them, my Lord? You do know how your parents died."
Harry just smirks at the elf " I have that handled. None of these people can betray me even if they tried. But unlike me, they are not really interested in this kind of stuff. Ophelia you and your daughters can go see the public library. It would be safer for you not to know what's down there"
Ophelia nodded. She understood just by knowing something, could place her and her daughters in danger. Not from Harry, but from his enemies.
Daphne and Astoria kept quiet even though they were curious. They learned there are some things that they just can't know. Courtesy of their maniac of a father.
"Melinda, Hope what about you?" Harry asked
"Bah, I'm too old to go around in secret tunnels and rooms. I will be looking for the lounge room. There had better be some comfortable seats for my old bones to rest." Melinda waved her hand and started to walk away "Tell me if you find anything interesting about Enchanting"
Hope just smiled "Anywhere you go I follow"
"You heard her" Harry glances at the old elf who just nods.
He leads Harry and Hope to an unassuming wall. The elf placed his hand on one specific part of the wall and a rectangular part caved in. Opening a door mechanism. To the right of them, a passageway appeared.
"There is no magic involved with the secret entrance. If you didn't know of it beforehand you wouldn't be able to find it"
The elf quickly guided them through the passageway and down some stairs. Then they entered some sort of chamber. There was a spiral staircase going downwards, above it was a big crystal chandelier. On the walls, the Potter was put up.
But next to it there was another crest. It had a cross in the middle and there were two bird-like creatures on each side (I don't know how to explain it better)
"Interesting"
Harry mused as he started walking down the staircase, which seemed to go on forever
"There is not a single magic artifact here except for the Preservation and Safety Wards at the bottom to keep the library safe." Titus explained
When they reached the bottom there was a single door. Made out of some black steel.
"Your blood master."
Harry sighed and cut his palm again before turning the door knob. They entered a dark room.
The head elf snapped its fingers. All of the lanterns in the vast space lit up.
""Whoa""
Hope and Harry stared with wide eyes. 7 floors. connected through stairs and walkways. Each floor was filled to the brim with books and scrolls but surprisingly something more as well.
"Why are there so many monster parts and weapons" Harry asked as he saw what was obviously vampire and werewolf skuls. He also saw Acromantula Fangs, various valuable parts from Magical Beasts.
A Bestiary. A few Holy Books. Lots of preserved Holy Water. Crosses.
Titus let out a small smile "In 1476. A squib from the Potter family. Frederic Potter was tired from feeling useless. His family unlike the others from the Wizarding world, didn't throw him out. The Potters weren't like the others, they cared for him. But being the only Squib in the household. It was normal for Frederic to be jealous. And when his siblings started making great achievements in their late teens, he decided to do something that would mark him in the Potter Family history.
He trained for 5 years. In all sorts of martial arts and weapons. He asked of the family to enchant some weapons for him. Once he got them he took on the name Frederic Belmont. And set off"
"Belmont? I have heard that name" Harry spoke up
"Frederic Belmont was the most feared monster hunter of his time. His son was born a wizard. But he chose to follow in his father's footsteps. They created a side branch if you will. A legacy, the Belmont name was a Shield so none of it could be traced back to the Potters.
This continued on until 1786. When the last Belmont died. Sadly he was sterile and didn't have any children to pass on the work. The Potters understood that this was the side branch. It was their pride. And they didn't want to desecrate it. So no Potter has called himself Belmont ever since. This Library is the culmination of 2500 years. Books from the Wizarding, Mundane, and Monster Hunting world. It is yours now my lord."
Harry scoffed "More than 2000 years of history. And the Potters were reduced just to me because they were idiots. Why leave this perfectly protected Manor? Too big? To socialize? Pshh. I don't plan on making the same mistakes."
He looked at the various Books. Scrolls. Stone carvings. Animal Parts. Plants. Minerals. His ancestors were serious Hoarders.
'This is gonna be fun'

Extra Title. Belmont Family/ Secret Family
I need help with the Belmont Crest description.
The library is pretty much the same as the Belmont one in Castlevania. Just quadruple the size. The Potters were around for 2000+ years. And like any smart family, they hoarded knowledge and materials for future generations.
