Something New

Jasmine hugged Noah for the longest. She loved her grandchildren equally but Noah held a special place in her heart being the oldest. She was proud of him and how he juggled work and his family time. When she learned about his existence years ago, she only wanted to catch up on the time lost. He was so special to her. Noah was loving, driven, and gentle. She prayed fervently in agreement with her daughter Katlin that he would find that prudent woman God had destined him to be with. His smile and presence always made her feel cherished and loved.

“What is my handsome grandson doing here today?” Jasmine smiled taking a seat next to him on her patio.

“Simply checking on my favorite person” he announced kissing her on the cheek.

“I am indeed excited to see you but I know you have a reason for visiting this old lady,” she grinned.

Noah laughed knowing that his grandmother was always on to him.

“Well, how do you court a church girl?” Noah asked still thinking about Imani.
