Bonding With Hannah

Two days later

Hannah sat in the corner of the restaurant staring outside the window. She enjoyed her dinner alone and was grateful for this alone time to gather her thoughts. The restaurant had called for a free lunch and she agreed because the service and food were amazing. Her friends were running late and she was fine with it because they would only remind her about living and moving on. Would she ever be able to move on from Johnathan?

They had dated for one year and he proposed soon after. The cancer diagnosis changed the course of their lives. When he discovered it, the damage was already done. It had spread quickly and he was gone. Hannah closed her eyes and remembered her first love.

“Hannah, the love of life, will you marry me?” Johnathan asked on bended knees,

“Yes, a thousand times yes,” Hannah cried shocked and amazed.

He placed the ring on her finger and kissed her desperately.

Hannah stared at the ring hugging him warmly.
