Who were the gods of planet Tavron?
Many things, they were many things, and could be more.
From the perspective of a mortal like Yidi, they were high, aloof, indifferent, having a perspective like no other.
They were detached from the ways of mortal men, they didn't understand the pain, suffering, joy, and fears mortals experienced.
To him, they were a necessary component of the universe, yet he found them unnecessary.
He found their existence meaningless. ‘What was the point of holding so much power.’
He would recite those words in his heart, words that he knew were the mantra of a weakling.
Yet those were the only words that could justify his feelings towards the gods.
Those were the words that comforted him, it wasn't his fault he was born weak, it wasn't his fault he was born a mortal, it wasn't his fault he wasn't born a god.
He had a secret, like every common man. But his secret was heavy, way too heavy for him to bear.
