Extract from Thandi H. Dlamini's diary, year 2058:

"I never thought this day would ever come. The day when every male on the planet ceased to exist. It's absolutely mind-boggling. The words convey meaning, yet lack true coherence. While all the women celebrated this accomplishment, I harbored a deep resentment. A resentment so intense that it drove me to betray those I once trusted wholeheartedly. I am left with no one to rely on, not even my own mother. I feel lost in this realm of sorcery. Will I ultimately perish in solitude within this dystopian society?"

A World Of Women

"I...I don't understand..." I froze mid-breath, my mind spinning like a wild carousel. 


Miss Maria, the woman who had worked as my family maid since I was a baby, was the Chief? How was that possible? Nothing made sense anymore. The World of Men was supposed to be ruled by men, yet it was ruled by a woman this whole time? How did any of that make sense? 


"Miss Maria..." My voice trembled, my words a mess 


Miss Maria raised her hands in a sheepish, almost childlike gesture, "Surprise?" 


Miss White's eyes snapped between us, jaw clenched, "Woah, woah, woah! You two know each other?" 


"I'm equally surprised." Anthony said, his posture stiffening, "Chief, you said this would be your first time meeting Thando." 


Miss Maria shrugged, "I lied. I've known Thando since she was a baby. I had nursed her since then, while her mother fulfilled her duties as the Queen." 


"So, you were the one who was chosen to be the former Chief's replacement?"
