Chapter 19
As Cyberlos emerged from his office, Jake shadowed him.
As he trailed the head of the research department through the winding corridors, Jake's senses remained sharp, ready to intercept any valuable information.
They went through a lot of departments.
'ho man this is boring....' Jake thought to himself.
Cyberlos evaluated many researchers projects and pointed them to their mistakes.
Suddenly, his attention was drawn to a team of lab assistants bearing specialized equipment and a conspicuous box, making their way towards Cyberlos with purposeful strides.
As they reached Cyberlos they talked about Aurora's blood extraction.
Jake Recognised them as the team responsible for extracting blood from Aurora's body.
With bated breath, Jake listened in on their conversation with Cyberlos, his ears tuned to every word exchanged. From their dialogue, he gleaned crucial information – they were indeed on their way to extract Aurora's blood.
'cute little vampire's, I'm gonna fry you like a kabab' Jake said in his mind.
As Jake stealthily trailed the team of three lab assistants through the maze of corridors, his heart pounding with anticipation, he navigated past numerous checkpoints with practice ease.
Finally, they arrived at a long, foreboding corridor, lined with automatic guns poised to unleash deadly force at any intruders. Yet, thanks to the advanced Lvl 3 upgrade to his suit, Jake remained undetected, slipping through the defenses like a ghost in the night.
'F#ck man, Aurora's getting the Deckard Shaw security here'.
As the team approached the entrance to Aurora's cell, guarded by two imposing figures.
With bated breath, he watched as they entered the password and an identity card the sound of the keypad echoing in the silence of the corridor.
'wow where's the eye scanning and bio metric scanners, mannn they are lazy.'
With a silent nod to each other, the guards stepped aside, allowing the team to pass into the inner sanctum where Aurora was held captive.
As Jake stealthily slipped into Aurora's cell, his presence unnoticed amidst the flurry of activity, he watched with a mixture of concern and determination as the team of scientists prepared to extract her blood.
"No can do" he wispeared in one of the scientists ear.
"Wha...."
With a swift and decisive action, he leaped into action, catching them off guard with a well-placed blow that sent them tumbling to the ground, unconscious.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is a kids show now" Jake said to himself.
With the immediate threat neutralized, Jake turned his attention to the two guards standing watch outside the cell. Moving with the precision of a trained assassin, he swiftly incapacitated them, rendering them unconscious with calculated strikes.
With the cell now clear of any obstacles, Jake approached Aurora, his gaze softening as he took in her delicate features.
"Hey kid, what's up?" He asked.
"Who are you, sir?" Aurora asked back.
"You can think of me as a hero, you can call me Jake or One".
"One.... Are you related to uncle Zero?" She asked.
'what the hell, Hela didn't even mentioned me!' Jake's mind went blank.
"Yes I'm related to him. Now let's get out of here, your sister is waiting for you..." Jake said to her.
"Really" she was happy to hear that.
Jake was actually in a bad mood right now. He had read how the organisation treated Aurora but seeing it personally, had enraged him.
"Now let's get out of here before the bad guys get here." Saying that Jake activated his fire ability and made a box by his shield and palaces Aurora inside it.
He did not waste anymore time.
Jake tapped into his full power, propelling himself upwards with incredible force. As he soared towards the ceiling, each floor of the base passed in a blur beneath him, his determination driving him ever higher. With a resounding crash, he burst through the final barrier, emerging into the night sky with a triumphant roar.
While hovering on the air Aurora looked through the box and saw the view from the top.
"Wow, we really got out!" She exclaimed.
"Where are we going now?" Aurora asked Jake.
"To see your sister of course....and then we will visit uncle Zero too." Jake said.
There were soldiers gathering in the ground.
But Jake wasn't concerned.
He took out a green liquid potion and gave it to Aurora.
"Here drink it, you must be hungry."
She drank the liquid.
"This is so sweet can I have more...." She asked.
"Sure I will give you more after we reach our destination so sit tight and grab on to those handles. This will be a little bumpy trip. Okay" Jake informed her.
Aurora then sat back in the box and grabbed the handles.
As Jake soared through the sky, his gaze flickering between the vast expanse of space and the distant horizon where his yacht awaited, he couldn't help but feel the weight of responsibility pressing upon him. With Aurora in tow, he knew he couldn't risk pushing his speed to its limits, instead opting for a cautious pace to ensure her safety.
He glanced at his inventory and saw the military equipment that had been stored.
'looks like the clones are still on their heisting duty' Jake thought to himself.
As Jake and Aurora finally reached the yacht, relief washed over them both as they stepped onto the familiar deck. However, their moment of respite was short-lived, as they were greeted by a clone waiting for them on the helicopter landing pad. With a sense of urgency, Jake listened as the clone informed him of Hela's awakening and attempted escape, his brow furrowing in concern.
"Didn't I give you the potions to deal with the situations?" Jake asked his clone.
"Well Boss-man, it worked perfectly at first but after the fifth time she kinda.... I don't know how to explain it... She is immune to the potions now. It isn't working on her." The clone replied scratching his head.
"Well good thing I have brought the best gift for her" Jake pointed at Aurora while saying.
"Uncle you didn't tell my sister about my arrival?" Aurora asked Jake.
"Nope, this will be a surprise for her. Come on let's get you something to eat."
After ensuring that Aurora was settled in the dining area, Jake directed his attention towards her, noting the hunger evident in her eyes as the aroma of the food tantalized her senses. With a soft smile, he motioned for her to take a seat.
Jake then ordered his clones to bring Hela to the dining area.
As Hela was escorted from her cell to the dining area of the yacht, her anger simmered beneath the surface, her every step pulsing with defiance and resentment. The clones accompanying her could sense her agitation, but they remained steadfast in their duty, their expressions impassive as they guided her towards the awaiting confrontation.
As Hela entered the dining area, her eyes narrowed with suspicion, her senses on high alert as she took in the scene before her. However, her shock was palpable as her gaze fell upon her little sister, Aurora, seated at the table eating.
Hela just stood there Frozen.
Jake seeing this had a smile on his face.
I hope everybody enjoyed the chapter...
