Running away like a little kid

One moment Daphne had Kian under her fingers. Well, she had thought that she had him until he turned the tables between them. Daphne's mind was still trying to comprehend what Kian had done to her. It was so fast, so unexpected that Daphne couldn't believe it.

Daphne struggled hard against the rope, Kian had quickly tied her up in. When he took her hand, she thought her plan had worked, but she never knew that Kian was going to drag her to the side and tied her up quickly with a rope.

Kian turned his face away from Daphne as he tried to button her shirt. Daphne watch him, still shocked about being tied up. She didn't know why he was turning his face away when he had already seen her.

"What are you doing?" Daphne asks Kian. His hands were stretched towards her shirt, in an attempt to help her button up. But whenever his hands got close he pulled himself away as though he didn't know what to do.

Kian hand jolted backward with force as though he had been struck by an electric current when his hand touched the skin of Daphne's breast as he tried to button her shirt. He let out a silent curses that Daphne couldn't hear. His face became redder as he faced Daphne. "You! I can't believe it... You..." He turned away from her again feeling speechless.

With a loud noise, Kian uses his werewolf strength to break the door without caring about whether he is being watched by Daphne or not. He ran out of the storeroom immediately after he broke the lock. He didn't try to walk fast, but he ran out like a little kid that was being hunted. Daphne almost laughed at the sight of it, but her hands were twisted to her back, tied up, reminding her that she had no reason to laugh.

Daphne never expected Kian to run away. She knew that he was strong but she never expected him to be strong enough to break a lock. Daphne was starting to feel her plans falling apart, even though her plans started falling apart when she thought that Kian was falling for her tricks.

'wait a minute.' Daphne thought. 'since he is gone, what about me?' Daphne was tied up with no way of escaping. Esther had no reason to come and check on her because Daphne had given her a particular time to come back and open the door to the storeroom.

"Daphne?" Esther asked with a low voice as she carefully approached the broken door to the store room. She stopped at the sight of the broken lock, and a curious thought of 'what happened?' passed through her mind. "Are you in here?" She asked again with a worried voice. The broken lock brought fearful thoughts to Esther's mind of what could have happened to her friend.

"I'm here," Daphne said. She was surprised to see Esther, it had only been a few minutes since Kian left, and it wasn't yet time for Esther to check up on her. "Please help me."

Esther gasped at the sight of Daphne who was tied up with her black lace bra in display. She had her suspicions about who had left Daphne in such a condition but Esther still found it hard to believe that a man could do something so terrible to Daphne.

"Thank you," Daphne said to Esther after she was free. "I'm grateful you are here."

'all my joints were going to feel sore if she didn't find me on time.' Daphne thought.

"How did you know that I needed help?" Daphne was curious about why Esther came earlier than the planned time.

"I didn't, I saw him running away from the cafe with an embarrassed blush on his face." Esther wanted to ask Daphne what she did to Kian but she could guess what happened from Daphne's unbuttoned shirt. What Esther still couldn't understand was the broken lock. "Did he break the door, together with the lock?" One side of the door was slightly unhinged.

Daphne let out a laugh at the scared expression on Esther's face. Even though Kian had tied her up, she felt happy with the decision he made.

'Who knew seducing Kian Landon was going to be fun.' Daphne thought.

"Why are you smiling?" Esther asks, "Your plan failed. He tied you up, but yet you look happy about it?" Esther was confused. She was starting to wonder if Daphne had hit her head hard against the floor, or perhaps Kian hit her. "Did he hit you?"

"No, he didn't, he couldn't even touch me." Daphne chuckle. "Forget about the door," Daphne told Esther, who was staring at the broken door in disbelief.

Esther didn't know what happened. She wasn't sure if she should ask Daphne. Kian didn't touch Daphne but he broke the door. Nothing was making sense to Esther.

"The door was old, and I don't think the padlock was good, that was why Kian was able to break it and escape." Daphne tried creating a logical explanation for how Kian was able to break the door and the lock.

"Okay," Esther said in a voice that didn't believe Daphne's explanation. She had seen the door and the lock before it was broken. It didn't look old, and the lock was good.

Daphne didn't say anything else about the door. She knew that if she gave too much explanation, then Esther wouldn't trust her words. The best way to lie was to avoid saying too much.

"Let's head back to work before someone notices that we are missing." Daphne dusted herself, her shirt had already been stained by the dust on the floor, and it was thanks to Kian.

Daphne headed to the door and waited for Esther to follow her.

Esther followed Daphne, she wanted to suggest once again that Daphne should give up on Kian, but the strong look in Daphne's eyes, made Esther realize that her suggestions were meaningless.

'since this plan didn't work, it's time to think of a different plan.' Daphne thought. 'I will get you, Kian Landon, even if I have to do it the hard way.'
