"Is that so?" I asked unconcerned and added, "Well, sure." I unceremoniously took a seat on the sofa in front of the table.
"That's a relief. You don't suit my taste anyway." I said loud enough for both of them to hear. It might sound like I was continuing my joke but I was dead serious.
"Anyway, what have you called me here for?" I asked even though I knew fully well why she wanted to see me.
"I want you to honor your deal from the duel." She spoke.
"Mmm. Let me guess, you want the recipe because if you don't present something by Thursday, you are screwed." I made an accurate guess that hit on the spot as Sophien's cold expression faltered.
"But, are you really under the impression that it's fair?" I asked. She flinched. She knew what I was getting at. In case she had lost, whatever her authority allowed wouldn't measure up to what she was asking.
