Tower of Regrets

Chapter 351

Ever since I was born, I was the special one. Whether it was in academics, sports, or anything else there was for a human to do. If there was one thing I wasn't good at, then it was power.

Raw, immense power. I was born special. So it made sense when I had special powers as well. And I didn't just feel like they were obligated to me. I earned them. Perfected them. And then perfected them again. And again. And again. For millions of years, in fragments, I made myself better every time.

Yet, no matter what I did, I just couldn't defeat him. My Dad, I mean. My Dad wasn't born special like me. I've heard many stories from my grandparents and my uncle and aunt about him. About how pathetic he was, weak, or everything like that.

But, there was one thing he was always proud of. His relentlessness. He once told me, 'You don't have to be special to hit back.'
