After Liora left the house, Maelona her attention to Aether, her gazes filled with doubt and suspicion.

"Are you sure you didn't fall for that bitch?" Maelona asked, her face sceptical, eyebrows furrowed in disbelief.

Aether sighed, knowing this conversation was inevitable, "I said before, I unconsciously did that," he answered honestly, his voice steady.

He believed honesty was the best policy, especially with these two strong-willed women.

Yet, Maelona's expression didn't change. "Yeah, I don't believe it…" she said bluntly, her face remaining stern.

Aether felt a twinge of frustration, "Then what should I do? Kiss you too?" he asked casually, his tone light-hearted, attempting to defuse the tension. His words had an immediate effect on Maelona. Her heart skipped a beat, and her face flushed a deep red.
