A few days passed, Ana had to join the Beckers to do the physical training, not being able to escape the responsibility given to her about the Awakening Test, she let it slip in a conversation with Luke, that her family would probably arrange a fiancé for her, Luke still doesn't seem to know about this "arranged engagement", Ana then decides to ruin any possibility about a possible engagement, she decides to invent a lie, a supposed "boyfriend", non-existent of course.

Ana is sitting in the school's meeting room, she has joined Scoot's Electoral Slate that is contesting the Student Guild Elections, and they are sitting next to the current Student Guild presidents and vice-presidents, Luke and Justin and a substitute treasurer, as the current Paul is away because he is injured, and is recovering from a fight that happened. They're both sitting at the table going through some papers, everything seems quiet for the moment.

Karoline, who belongs to the same group as Ana and Scoot, came back from a trip a few days ago, she has a romantic interest in Luke and has known him for many years, but it is not reciprocated, so she joined Scoot, the Beckers' main rival, and they want to get the Beckers out of the Student Guild, she has known Ana for a few days, so she decides to ask about her personal life, just to rule out that other girls have an interest in Luke, she feels bored with the silence, and decides to break it:

"Oh, this is so boring! Let's talk, then Ana, tell me, do you have a boyfriend?"

Caroline's friend looks at her and laughs, while Ana is concentrating on looking at some spreadsheets and studying the Election Plan for the next Debate, she takes the papers from Ana's hand and waits for her answer.

Ana thinks for a moment and then says:

"I think we'd better continue studying the Action Plans, nobody here knows about my personal life."

Caroline continues the conversation and adds:

"Well, I heard that you have a future fiancé, is that true?"

Ana looks at her in surprise, thinks for a few moments and then replies:

"Yes, I have a boyfriend, but I think we'll be engaged soon."

Luke stops his reading for a moment, and looks at Ana, he remembers the day Ana said something about engagement, and he remembers in particular the phrase she said

He feels a little uncomfortable, because that day he tried to flirt with her, and she put him off with that phrase, he tries to disguise it, and pretends to be concentrating on his papers, Justin, whether he wants to or not, also listens to the conversation, and looks at Luke, he then also remembers something:
