Justin and Luke finish their training, then Justin goes to take a shower and change, Luke decides before going to take a shower, to go to his Father's office, he notices that he is reading and snoops around in the Garden where Ana is, he also notices that she has her eyes closed probably meditating, he leaves her alone and sits in the chair in front of his Father, and stands looking at Mr. Han, he notices that Luke is there and knows that he probably wants to ask something:

"Go ahead, son, I know you want to ask me something."

Luke then gives a smile, his father seems to read his mind sometimes, he rests his arm on the table in front of his face thoughtfully, and speaks:

"So I overheard you talking to Mr. Bianchi (Ana's father), I heard something about an engagement, and I was curious, what engagement would that be?"

Luke is bluffing, a few days ago his father did in fact talk to Mr. Bianchi but he didn't listen, he just took the bait, because in fact he knows that there are traditions between families, it's a lineage to follow, the Beckers are descendants of one of the Princes of Hell and his father is half Demon and half Mage, and he knows that he needs to mix the lineages, especially because of the Mage link.
