Ditching training day -Part 1

She walks into the room a little ungracefully, puts her hand on her stomach as if to say she's in pain and apologizes to the teacher, who frowns but lets her pass without drawing her attention. 

(I'm omitting the truth, not lying.... is different...right...) 

The last few lessons go on as normal, Ana seems less upset, but she knows that when she gets home in the evening, she'll probably be grounded, knowing this she'll take her time going home, enjoy her day of freedom, try to get away from training as well, how she'll do it, she doesn't know yet. 

When it's time to leave, Ana has already thought of something to excuse herself and goes to the city's shopping mall. She waits for the boys on the corner as usual, and tells them that she can't go to training today, she's pretending to have cramps, and puts her hand on her stomach and makes a face as if she's in pain. Justin and Luke understand that she's "in those days", Ana instead of taking her usual route, takes another one, which makes Luke think it's suspicious, so he decides to follow her, he asks Justin to go ahead. Ana goes to the bus stop and waits for the bus to go to the mall, Luke stays there waiting to see which bus she's going to take, she gets on the bus and he gets on straight away, she sits down on the bench, and he stands next to her, but she doesn't notice him because she's distracted by her headphones, she seems to be happy now, it's exciting to be running away from something sometimes. She gets off at the shopping center, Luke is right behind her, she passes the bakery again and stares at the cakes, Luke finally decides to approach her, while she's distracted he comes up behind her and whispers as usual: 

"You came here, just to have another cake..." 

She jumps with fright, her heart feels like it's going to burst out of her mouth, she can't even look back. 

(Damn, I've been caught...breathe Ana...I can't even look back...) 

He sees that it takes her a while to turn around, so he stands in front of her, while Ana remains still without any reaction, as if her soul had left and only her body remained. 

"Sweetheart... did the cat eat your tongue? You weren't expecting that, were you?" 

Ana thinks about what to say, but then she goes back to her original plan and says: 

"I'm PMSing, and yes, I've come to eat cake, again, why can't I?" 

Luke soon realizes that she's not going to tell the truth, and was probably running away from something, so he puts his hands on Ana's shoulders and says: 

"Yes, you can, you can choose as many as you want... I'll help you take them." 

Ana remembers the cake again, and feeling like she's fighting with the wrong person, she swallows dryly and ends up apologizing: 

"Luke, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to take my anger out on you, and I am..." 

Luke replies: 

"It's okay, I'll do it without meaning to. Go on, choose the cake you want."
