Debate for the Student Guild Election. Part 1

Monday arrives, and Ana gets ready for school, she's barely slept at night, because she has to inform Scoot, that she's quitting the Guild Election, he called her several times over the weekend, but Ana didn't want to talk on the phone, so she sends an SMS on her cell phone just letting him know:

"Hi Scoot, we need to talk, I'll meet you at school today."

As soon as she arrives at school, Scoot is already waiting for her in front of the school gate, Ana takes a deep breath, she feels anxious, he may not be to blame for what happened, but she can't stay in the same group as Caroline, she really hopes he understands her, Scoot as soon as he spots Ana, he waves his hand at her, Ana hates this feeling, she liked it when she seemed invisible to everyone, but she put herself in the situation, when she wanted to make "friends", Scoot greets her, he looks worried:

"Good morning Ana, are you all right? Are you angry with me, not answering my texts?

Ana puts her backpack on her back, she starts to break out in a cold sweat, as she walks with him into the school, she breaks the silence:

"I'm fine, I need to be direct, I'm not going to take part in the debate anymore, and I don't want to take part in the Guild election anymore, I hope you understand me."

Scoot is surprised, but he already imagined that something like this would happen, he sighs looking annoyed, he stops midway, and takes her to the library then retorts:

"Okay, you're angry, I don't take away your reason, but in a way it wasn't my fault, I don't know what I can do to make it right, just tell me one way, I can't lose you Ana."

Ana looks so confused, she really doesn't want to ruin her friendship with Scoot, the bell for the beginning of class rings, she sighs deeply, so she decides to take a chance if he really is on her side, or Caroline's, she says:

"I need real proof, Caroline drugged me on Friday, I'm 100% sure about it, I'm going to take it to the Student Council, before I tell my Parents, I'm giving it a chance before it becomes a lawsuit."

Ana is resolute in her words, she's not going to let this go unnoticed, Scoot listens to her carefully, this Ana in front of him doesn't seem that naive, but he hasn't given up yet, he risks negotiating with her by saying:

"Okay, but I want something in return, after all she's on my team in the awakening test, I can't just betray her without something in return."

Ana frowns, he really is trying to negotiate in the face of a serious problem, his health was at stake, she fights back for a moment:

"Scoot, this isn't the time to negotiate an exchange, I might not even be here today, with this 'joke' of hers."

Just then, the coordinator enters the library and draws their attention:

"What are you doing out of the classroom?! It's the bell, we're both going to class now!"

Scoot rolls his eyes, he doesn't like being interrupted, but he has to obey her, he turns to Ana before leaving the library and says:

"I'll see you in the afternoon in the Guild room, before the debate."

Ana continues to frown, she needs the tests, but she doesn't know what this exchange would really be, she leaves right behind Scoot, leaving the library and going to her classroom, Luke who is making his last round before entering his classroom, notices the two of them leaving the library together, and then the Coordinator leaves, he looks a little confused:

(What were they doing in the Library together? What's that idiot Scoot up to now?)

His fist clenches, he looks very angry and annoyed, but he has to go to his classroom, he wants to go to Ana, but he holds back, it's time for break and he notices that Ana hasn't gone down to the cafeteria, as usual she sits with Scoot's group, But he sees him alone with his group and Caroline is with him, they're laughing at something, but Luke doesn't care what exactly they're laughing at, Ana decides to stay in the library reading, she's not hungry, and prefers to be alone and silent, but one way or another she seems anxious, she says to herself:

"What would this exchange be, damn it, and if he still doesn't help me, I'll have to risk it!"
