Accepting your feelings for yourself - Part 1
Ana looks at Luke, who has returned to wearing his usual piercing in his mouth, Luke doesn't understand because he doesn't remember much about months ago, Luke looks down at his friend, and in fact doesn't see the piercing, he doesn't seem to have liked Davi, Ana's "boyfriend", meanwhile Ana looks at Davi without reaction, she has completely forgotten about this detail, she improvises:
"He took it out and didn't put it back in, he was afraid they'd stop him at airport customs, dear? Haha
"You have to put it back on, it looks so nice."
Davi starts to laugh, a loud laugh:
"Ha Ha Ha, it's true, I thought they'd think I looked crazy or something."
He looks at Luke, and corrects himself:
"No offense, I love piercings, I miss them, so let's go home, honey."
Davi doesn't seem to like Luke very much, in fact they both don't like each other, it's clear to see, as both Luke and he are still staring at each other, Ana says goodbye to everyone, and takes Davi's arm and goes home with him, Luke then gets up too, leaving his girlfriend at the table, she gets up quickly and goes after him, and holds him by the arm:
"Luke, darling, where are you going? You should at least say goodbye, you're not coming home..."
He interrupts her, saying:
"We're not really boyfriend and girlfriend, Helena, so don't overdo it... I'm tired, I'll talk to you later."
And then he leaves. Justin already knew about Luke's "fake relationship", just like Ana, Luke also got a fake girlfriend, just to escape next week's Engagement Meeting.
Ana takes a cab with her friend Davi, she seems to be quite tired now, her mind properly speaking, she thanks her friend for picking her up and playing the role of "boyfriend", he smiles, but seems annoyed, then he speaks:
"I didn't like that Luke guy, I didn't like the look of him and apparently neither did he like the look of me, arrogant rich guy."
Ana makes a crying face and says in a slightly shaky voice:
"What if I told you that I really fell in love with that arrogant rich guy?"
Davi looks at Ana, frowns and says:
"It was already pretty obvious, with all the stuff you were saying about him in messages, it was Luke, he did this, he did that, you must be blind, this guy is trouble, listen to what I'm telling you, then you won't tell me I didn't warn you, you silly girl."
Ana begins to cry compulsively inside the cab, the cab driver looks through the rearview mirror at Davi, as if blaming him for making the girl cry, Davi notices that the taxi driver is looking at him, quickly hugs Ana, and tries to calm her down by saying:
"Hey, you don't have to cry Ana, honestly I've never seen you cry easily, cry for another boy, and that guy isn't even me."
Giving the taxi driver the impression that it wasn't him who had caused the girl's tears, Ana slaps Davi on the arm and tells him to keep it down, he continues to hug her until she calms down, all the way to Ana's house, arriving at her gate she wipes away her tears, her face is all red and there's no way she can go home with her face like that, her parents will be worried, she decides to go to the small pharmacy near her house, she's looking for earrings, piercings in her country it's easy to find earrings, and even the pharmacist used to pierce ears, but it's a bit different in this country, there are specific people for this, David is confused to see her looking for something, which he can't imagine what it is, he asks her what she's looking for, so that he can help her look too, she didn't find what she wanted so she replies:
"I'm looking for earrings, piercings, but I wanted them to be press-on or fake, I need you, at least for this week, I accidentally emphasized that you had a piercing, and they obviously noticed it was missing."
Davi remembers her commenting about a boy with a piercing, but he's also forgotten this big detail, so he stops to think about it for a moment, comes to a conclusion and asks about it:
"Wait Ana, you said the boy with the piercing, that's Luke right?"
Ana usually tells her friend almost everything that's going on with him, she decides to be honest, but ends up telling him more than she usually does:
"Yes, the man himself, I really thought he was handsome, and the piercings were an added bonus, but they made me curious about piercings, so I ended up kissing him....oups..."
Davi looks very surprised at Ana, literally shocked, and speaks aloud:
"What? What do you mean you kissed him, what's all this about, you didn't say you kissed him..."
Ana slaps him on the arm again, to make him speak more quietly, it's his habit to speak loudly, to laugh loudly, she's used to his manner, and says:
"Shhh, keep quiet, you don't have to tell the whole pharmacy..."
As soon as she comes to the next aisle, she notices someone else standing at the checkout buying something, and it's her 'neighbor' Luke, the person she kissed, she goes into shock, and hides in shame, so ashamed she's feeling at the moment, Davi walks straight past her, and goes to the checkout, he sees Luke standing at the checkout counter, Luke looks directly at him, but doesn't say anything, Ana tries to pull Davi away but he's too strong, he ends up standing in the checkout queue, Ana picks him up and hides outside the pharmacy, and lets out a sigh:
"Pfff, OMG did you hear? That idiot Davi is always talking loudly, shit... I can't even look at Luke now, where do I stick my face, calm down, calm down... I'm going to sit over there at that table, with my back turned so he'll leave the pharmacy and won't even notice me..."
There are some tables on the side where you can sit down, he'd have to go out of the entrance and round the corner to get to the tables, so Ana doesn't think he'll do that.
David continues to wait in line at the pharmacy, Luke is coming out of the door but doesn't say anything directly to him, on the other hand David needs to check if he really heard something about what they were saying, David says out loud to the lady at the till: "Pff, boyfriends get a distant, the others already think their girlfriend is needy, these young people today."
