Pool Party - Part 1

It's finally the day of the Pool Party, Ana had a sneezing fit at night, and her ear kept turning red, the old-timers say that's when they're talking about us, good or bad, she wakes up early because she has a dance class that her mother has made her practice since she was little, what she doesn't know is that Ana has secretly changed her class to Street Dance without telling her, Davi is going to accompany her because they still need to buy a piercing, and they're going to the party in the afternoon, so it's best to resolve this issue soon, while he waits in the waiting room, Ana does her warm-up, she talks to some of her classmates, they comment on her friend, and how handsome they found him, because he's Latino he has an extra charm, as soon as she finishes her class, she takes a shower and changes into a white dress for the party in a few hours' time, she goes to the Center with Davi and they frantically look for a fake piercing, halfway through Davi decides he's going to get it pierced, and as he's 19 there's no need for a parental consent form, so he puts a piercing in his mouth, and one in his eyebrow, but not a ring like Luke's usually is, Ana is amazed at his immunity to pain, piercing and putting in two piercings at once, Ana is still reluctant to pierce the second hole in his ear, and hasn't managed to get permission from his parents, and hasn't even tried to be honest, she knows the answer will be no, they have lunch, have an ice cream, as it helps the piercing hole to swell, but he's taking it well. 

Before they go to the party, Ana knows that it's a pool party to celebrate Luke's recovery, so by tradition in her country, it's common to bring a gift, flowers, something like that, but on the invitation it was just to bring food and drink, they go to a store in the mall, the perfume store, Ana remembers having looked at some perfumes a while ago, but she wants to take a cologne that's a bit like the one Luke usually wears, a more woody tone, she gets Davi to help her, he's already tired from all the walking back and forth, but he keeps his good humor, he helps her choose a perfume, Ana notices that he likes a particular perfume, so she decides to buy one for him and another as a present for Luke, well if he doesn't like it, it's simple, just throw it away, but I hope he doesn't, because it didn't cost Ana that much, she writes something on a card and puts it in the gift bag, As they walk through the mall, she notices that there are two girls in front of them, as soon as one of them turns around she sees that it's Caroline, she ends up noticing Ana's presence, and the boy next to her, she goes towards Ana and greets her: 

 "Hello Ana, what a coincidence, I've come to pick up a present for Luke, and who is this boy next to you, is he your boyfriend by any chance? 

Ana had no way of avoiding her, just as she thought about changing direction she was spotted, so without the slightest desire to talk to her, she replied: 

 "Hi, yes he's my boyfriend, we're in a hurry, so bye." 

Caroline doesn't like the way Ana responds, before she leaves and takes Davi by the arm, Ana almost has a heart attack at the audacity of the girl, Caroline then says: 

 "Nice to meet you, Ana didn't want to introduce me to you, so I'll introduce myself, I'm Caroline, Ana's friend." 

Ana is incredulous at what she has heard and replies: 

 "What do you mean? Friend? You mean is a snake in the grass." 

Ana pulls her friend Davi and decides to leave the mall, before she ends up fighting and solving the problem she had with Caroline, she takes a deep breath, they take the cab, Ana huffing the whole way. It's time for the party, the guests are duly released at the gate at the Becker's house, it seems that quite a few people have already arrived, mostly schoolmates, friends, friends of friends, the Becker's party is always hectic, Ana arrives at their house, the party has already started for a while, the pool is looking very crowded, there are lots of people everywhere, but not inside the House after all her Mother is at home today, and her Father is on a mission at DSO, they're only allowed to stay in the gardens and the pool, which are already quite extensive, so there's room for everyone, Ana begins to bitterly regret having come, she doesn't like crowds so she ends up wanting to get away from people, which makes her lose sight of Davi, but soon he raises his arm, telling her he's going to get them a drink, with lots of ice because it seems he's now feeling discomfort in his mouth, Ana tries to find Justin and Luke, but to no avail, she wants to deliver her present, finally she finds them, they're near the edge of the pool, near the changing rooms, Luke seems very animated and happy, talking to one and other, he loves parties so he likes to socialize, Justin by the way is a little quiet, more than usual, she notices that they're drinking something, and playing at making shots of drinks, it doesn't look like they're just juice, and soda, and she also notices that there's someone next to him looking like a tick stuck to him, yes his fake girlfriend, but Ana doesn't know that yet, she looks at her gift bag, and wonders how she's going to deliver the gift with her girlfriend on the side, she decides to take another route and go the other way, Justin notices that Ana has arrived, that she was on her way but suddenly changed and turned around, soon the crowd covers her and he can't see her anymore, she scratches her head, Luke notices that he seems to be looking for someone, and asks: "Are you looking for someone Bro?" 

Justin nods yes and says: 

 "It was Ana she arrived, she was coming, but out of nowhere, she turned back."
