"Sure, I'll wait for you." Bo Jingyan lifted his wineglass and clinked it with Xia Qingtian's.
Xia Qingtian was too happy today and, before she knew it, she had finished a bottle of wine.
After dinner, she was somewhat tipsy.
The food on the table had been cleared away. Xia Qingtian propped her chin on her hands, looking at the stars with a slightly bewildered look in her eyes.
"The stars look beautiful tonight." She sighed.
Bo Jingyan suddenly asked, "Would you like one? I can pluck down the brightest one for you."
His words successfully made Xia Qingtian laugh, "Please, I'm drunk, not stupid."
Seeing her disbelief, Bo Jingyan did not get angry, he merely extended his palm towards her.
Xia Qingtian looked closely at his open hand and asked with amusement, "And where is the star?"
A hint of humor flashed in Bo Jingyan's eyes before he pretended to grasp at the sky, "It's done, I've caught it. Open and see."
As he spoke, he brought his closed fist towards her.
