Qian Yiduo and Liu Zhongliang's family boarded the ship, with two sons led by the wet nurse running over to clutch the hem of Qian Yiduo's skirt.
The older son was named Liu Lixiang, Brother Xiang, over three years old. The younger one was called Liu Lifu, Brother Fu, just over one. Both little fellows were white and chubby, appearing rather well-nourished.
Laughing, Qian Yiduo took one by each hand and entered the cabin.
By late afternoon, they arrived at Huaxi Jetty.
Now, the Huaxi Jetty had expanded considerably since it was first built, with vendors selling food and cart drivers calling out, a never-ending hubbub of activity that brought the place to life.
The servants found five clean ox carts with carriage bodies, and after Qian Yiduo and the others boarded them and their belongings were secured, they set off towards Huaxi Village.
