266. When the Demonic Tide Rises_1

The harsh, cold wind carried with it polluted black smoke, emitting a stifling stench that engulfed the fortress.

The tearful gloomy skies seemed to be devouring all the sunlight, gradually dimming.

In the distance, beyond the barrier of the raging fire, darkness covered the forest.

The first thing that caught one's attention was the wolf howls.

The piercing sounds penetrated the heart, triggering the deepest fears of humanity.

A gale wind suddenly swept through.

From the watchtower, one could see the dense canopy of the Black Forest swaying like ocean waves, undulating and, accompanied by the wolf howls, the tide of the Sea of Trees surged toward the direction of Black Fort.

All at once, the darkness expanded.

Even from afar, one could hear the sound of trees shattering.

The trees covered by the shadows disintegrated in an instant, their remnants spiraling and fluttering with the winter chill in the sky, as if one could see the actual body of the gale wind.
