Old Eggplant was also curious about the space beneath the bed when he was young. Back then, bed frames generally had a gap underneath where parents would store boxes and cases. The occasional glimpse into that space made the young Old Eggplant very curious.

He still clearly remembered that as a child, he once saw a spider on the wall. He intended to kill it with a newspaper, but the nimble spider scurried away and took refuge under the bed.

Since then, Old Eggplant's fear of what lay beneath the bed grew. He always harbored a concern that the spider could be hiding there, ready to crawl out and burrow into his ear at any moment. This terror continued for a long time until it lessened as he grew up.

Now, Old Eggplant's bed was one with a closed base, which felt secure to look at.

In the game, he couldn't help but bend down and peer beneath the bed.

As his gaze gradually shifted toward the dark space under the bed, Old Eggplant's heartbeat also began to quicken.
