The next day, driven by a surge of anger, Xiahou Chi made his way down the mountain to the Baishou City School. Before he even entered, he heard the uniform recitation coming from inside the school.
It was just dawn and the school was already filled with children, making Xiahou Chi the latest to arrive.
"Great Immortal! You're here!"
Upon seeing Xiahou Chi arrive, the children's eyes lit up, and they called out one after another.
Xiahou Chi snorted coldly and ignored them. What could he possibly have to say to children? He took his seat and listlessly flipped through a book.
The school was, after all, built for children, so the seats were very small. A big and burly person like him found it uncomfortable no matter how he sat.
"Hey, kid, why are all of you up so early? Don't you need to sleep? It's rather cold today."
Xiahou Chi said to a child nearby who was buried in reading.
