Chapter 715: Judging by Appearances

"Captain Zhan is here."

Just like any other day, Zhan Kan took the subway to the vicinity of his workplace, then walked over to the restaurant for breakfast, and encountered an unexpected situation.

Somebody actually made a point to greet him!

As a rookie among forensic doctors, Zhan Kan didn't interact much with other departments. Although he wasn't invisible, his usual routine was to arrive and leave the office quietly.

No one ever met him with a smile in their face.

"Is that... Captain Wang?" Zhan Kan quickly recognized the person.

"We handled that serious injury case before, you were the one who did the forensic assessment, right?" Captain Wang said cheerfully, "Haven't had breakfast yet?"

Zhan Kan thought to himself, If I had already eaten, why would I be at the restaurant...

Fortunately, he was a little chubby guy with good emotional intelligence, and simply smiled, "Yes, just grabbing a bite before heading to the office."
