<p>Personally, I felt we were making good progress. Ellen and Ilya were almost catching up to my kill count, and the next group of ostriches we encountered would likely be enough to complete the mission. However, Noelle hadn't reached her quota yet; she needed to be between 145 and 147 kills.</p>

<p>After a brief discussion, we decided it would be best for one of us to complete the quota first. Without hesitation, I volunteered for the task. While it made me a target, I was confident I wouldn't face immediate mortal danger. Besides, I had the advantage of a return guarantee, something I couldn't assure my companions of, unfortunately.</p>
