Chapter 211: Medusa Goes Into Hiding
"Do you think I have any reason to lie to you?" Lin Xiu retorted.
If not for saving time and the fact that Yun Yun, being a Dou Emperor, could barely serve as his sparring partner, he wouldn't even bother talking to her.
This woman, despite being the Sect Master of the Misty Cloud Sect, had let Xiao Yan go because of some past interactions in the Magic Beast Mountains, nearly leading to the destruction of the Misty Cloud Sect.

"Alright, then I'll pay a visit to the Snake People Tribe," Lin Xiu said decisively. He remembered that Medusa hadn't fulfilled her promise yet, and he couldn't let her slip away.
"Mr. Lin Xiu, aren't you taking the materials with you?" Yun Yun asked.
Watching Lin Xiu's departing figure, Yun Yun called out to him, pointing at the massive stone he had been looking at. Since he wanted the Snake People Tribe to craft something, how could he not take the materials with him?
"No need," Lin Xiu replied. Lightning flashed under his feet, and his figure disappeared, moving so fast that it startled Yun Yun, causing her to drop the sword she was holding.
Staring at the spot where Lin Xiu had vanished, Yun Yun was dazed. "What kind of Dou Technique is that? My Wind Attribute Dou Qi doesn't even match a tenth of his speed."
Though both were Dou Emperors, the difference in their abilities seemed vast.
Lin Xiu traveled swiftly, lightning flickering around him. Using the perfected body movement Dou Technique "Six Thousand Lightning Movements," he seemed to teleport, appearing a kilometer away with each step.
Before long, the silhouette of the Snake People Tribe's temple appeared in the distance.
"Medusa!"
The voice echoed like rolling thunder from the sky. All the Snake People in the city stopped what they were doing and looked up. The guards on the city walls gripped their weapons, ready to attack the person who had dared to call their queen by name.
However, when they saw the face of the slowly descending figure, the guards quickly lowered their heads, acting as if nothing had happened. It was said that this person had already seen all the secrets of the Snake People Tribe, so calling the queen by name was nothing.
They couldn't afford to provoke him!
Hua She'er, accompanied by some subordinates, approached and informed Lin Xiu that the queen was not present.

Compared to the heritage of the Snake People Tribe, such insights seemed trivial.
Having obtained what he needed, Lin Xiu prepared to leave. Upon returning to the Misty Cloud Sect, he spent some time successfully forging the large piece of ore into a hammer, similar in size to Thor's Hammer. The hammer was embedded with three magic cores: one of Wind Attribute, one of Lightning Attribute, and one of Fire Attribute, all of which were Rank 6 magic cores.
This was also the highest rank of magic core Lin Xiu could obtain. With the weapon issue resolved, Lin Xiu decided to stay at the Misty Cloud Sect to focus on honing his Dou Techniques, gaining experience, and thereby earning Attribute Points.
Since he already had the Fallen Heart Flame, he didn't need to return to the Academy to enjoy the enhanced cultivation speed.
Five days after the battle at the Misty Cloud Sect, Lin Xiuya, Yan Hao, and others came to bid farewell to Lin Xiu. They had received the promised pill rewards from Xiao Yan and were preparing to return to the Academy.
Standing on the cliff, Lin Xiu watched them depart, not joining them on their return.
