Annan, commonly referred to as Jiao City in Chinese.
A hundred years ago, Emperor Ma of the Great Ming Dynasty stepped into China, quelling the chaos and unifying the world. Tatar, Annan, Tibet, and Japan willingly submitted, becoming vassal states. The four major countries regularly paid tribute and sent envoys to the Great Ming Dynasty to seek knowledge.
With the four seas pacified, prosperity abounded. However, in the fleeting seventy years, martial arts sects emerged, and the Kunlun Demon Sect rose, posing a rebellion threat, endangering the entire martial world of the Great Ming Dynasty.
From the Great Ming Dynasty, the four major countries acquired useful knowledge, including gunpowder, culture, and some mechanical arts. Japan learned the fastest, based on the Great Ming Dynasty's Godslay Crossbow, and replicated a similar large crossbow called the Array-Breaking Crossbow, the one previously used by Yagyu Yuki to threaten Zhuque.
