Lu Qingqing was ready to head out when she heard these words. She turned her head to look at him, her eyes filled with suspicion.
"I'll be troubling Miss Lu for several days," Fu Yisheng said as he picked up the last gift bag remaining outside the luggage and handed it to her. "A modest gift is not much, but please don't refuse it, Miss Lu."
"There's also a gift for me?" Lu Qingqing thought it was only a courtesy gift for visiting.
Fu Yisheng saw that she didn't accept it immediately and knew she was worried the gift might be too expensive, so he added, "It's nothing too pricey, just something to fit the season."
With that said, Lu Qingqing naturally felt it was rude to decline further.
"Then, thank you, Mr. Fu."
Feeling the lightness of the gift bag, Lu Qingqing was greatly relieved.
If it were something valuable, she could always return a gift of equal worth in the future.
