She was the one who tried to approach him first, but she never dreamed Ethan would treasure her like this. Because he was a man who carried so much trauma from his past, she thought he'd avoid her for the rest of their lives.

"If this was a dream, we'd be doing more than this."

Ethan's hand gently stroked her skin that was speckled with red kiss marks. Everytime she felt his touch, her body trembled from the memories of what they'd done last night.

Ethan really liked the feel of her soft body.

"Haa."

Adelina let out a small yawn. She looked up at him with sleepy, half-lidded eyes. Ethan frowned.

"Now that you've woken me up, are you planning on going back to sleep on your own?"

"I'm sleepy."

Adelina rubbed her heavy eyelids and spoke in a tired voice. She couldn't help but feel drowsy in Ethan's embrace underneath the warm blankets. Ethan frowned as she buried her face against his chest and closed her eyes.
