But though his new body and new life comes with substantial perks, he will soon discover there are substantial risks as well. He’s far from the only strong talent in this new world, and few such people are happy to welcome more into their ranks. In what was supposed to be a virtual world, Xu Zuhui will soon find that the stakes he’s fighting for are very real…and he’ll have to become very strong indeed to survive the events the real hero of this world will inevitably drag him into.

Li Han grinned and stood up, even offering his hand for me to stand up. I knocked it away indignantly, and he laughed. "Do I look like your woman? What's this nonsense all of a sudden?!"

He laughed even more. "I'm just in a very good mood. Best mood I've been in since I got here, you could say."

"Right, right. But less of the shenanigans, if you please."

He shook his head, still grinning, "there really isn't a shred of silly underneath that dour exterior, is there? I'd bet as many points as you paid Qun Xing for that technique that once you reach the last Earth Realm, your Aura Aspect will be Ice. You're just too cold for it to be anything else!"

"And what's wrong with that?" said Huan.

"It's not wrong. But it's a very known quantity about him, and a few types of people just can't resist trying to mess with someone like him."
